Chai’s guitar from Hi-Fi Rush
All done painting the 3D printed components that go on the PVC frame!
Now I just need to glue the components on the PVC—does anyone have a recommendation for a adhesive to stick PLA to PVC? Something less-than-permanent would be ideal, in case I ever need to repair it.
And after the gluing, I’ve got a couple foam panels to put on it, and various wires and greebles. DragonCon here I come!

My second wig attempt, Mitsuba from TBHK
Going as Mitsuba on Saturday for Tekko 2023! I tried styling a Mitsuba wig for AnimeBoston this year, but I wasnt fully happy with the results. So this is my second attempt. Man styling is hard!! so much respect for people who are pros at this. I think I spent a solid hour trying to get the ponytail right!!

Gullivarr (Animal Crossing)
From Dragoncon 2022 - I haven't played the game myself, but I had a group of friends that were doing it, so I picked one that seemed fun and joined in! The beak is laser-cut craft foam, and the feathers are all laser-cut and airbrushed fabric. The jacket was substantially modified to add relevant details (including an attached vest, not visible when I'm washed up on shore) and the rest of the outfit is closet/amazon cosplay. The communicator is an inflatable we made ourselves. I had to remake the back from scratch to get something that would scale up that big, and we got it custom printed. It works as a costume as well (with legs sticking out the bottom), but is fairly unpleasant, so we determined it was better as a prop. edit: Editing to see if the post will federate

Luz Noceda - The Owl House - Palisman Staff
Thought id share a WIP of my current cosplay project! I finished last month the Stringbean staff for my cosplay, and it was the most intensive prop I’ve ever worked on.
First, someone already made the stl of Stringbean, and was selling the file online so I purchased myself it. (Here it is so others can also find it. Big thanks to the person for making this public: https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/game/owl-house-luz-stringbean-staff-cosplay-palisman-3d-print-model)
But, made modifications with both the pole I had being larger and a slight consistency error with the show I noticed (how Stringbean attaches to the pole). So, went into blender and modified it. After that, could 3D print it on my Ender 5 Pro, where then refinement began.
Tons of spray painting, until eventually I reached the state I was happy with. I resin-casted the orb, took several days since first time I ever did resin-casting. Then had some leftover resin so I casted the eyes to create more of a shine. Put it all together, and bam! And it turned out incredible.
Overall, so proud, it was my first time doing props to this degree, and taught a ton. Now for the rest of the cosplay.

Rosalina (Super Mario Galaxy)
To help get the waters started here, since it's terrifying to be the first one to post in a new community, I'll kick it off!
From 2021, this was one of the first cosplays I ever did, Rosalina. Decided to learn how to sew a dress for this, as well as some prop work. It was incredibly tough, but was incredible to pull of. It was also the first cosplay I was able to do after coming out at my university. So, while I've done more since then, this one still means a ton to me.
Would love to go back to it now and get a proper photo done sometime. This was the best photo I got of it.
