Looks like slightly obscure Xbox 360 titles are on the rise

I've noticed some slightly obscure Xbox 360 titles rising in price lately. Anyone know why demand has gone up suddenly? Examples: Spec Ops: The Line ($15 to $35), Spectral Force 3 ($20 to $100), and Lost Odyssey ($20 to $35).

Halo 3 limited edition and Fallout New Vegas on XONE have climbed too, though they aren't as obscure.

Are collectors starting to focus on Xbox 360 titles?

my favourite piece in my gaming collection isn't a game. did any one else write Nintendo back in the day?

!Robin's list - you can see it hiding out behind the right page if you look hard. Someday I'll get a framing to display all three pages

    A few good Famicom/NES finds

Went to a flea market and a few retro stores I hadn't been to before up in Michigan and walked away with a few solid new games to add to my collection! I paid $100 for Lone Ranger+Best of the Best Karate and $40 for Lagrange Point. Not the crazy deals I used to see, but still pretty happy!

Btw, I'm just treating Lemmy like I used to treat /r/gamecollecting. Let me know if posting "finds" here is annoying.

Brought my Vita on vacation and I'm in love again

I've been a Vita refugee for years, I own two actually. I'm fond of the system, and it makes me miss smaller, actually portable systems.

The past couple years I've largely migrated to the Switch, and it's a good system, but it always feels so heavy in my hands and arms, it won't fit into my purse, and so much of the library is digital only ( Vita did have this problem at the end though ) that I long for the Vita and PSP.

I picked up and played some games lately, like the Little Big Planet on the Vita, and wow that game is so good! The levels feel a little long for a portable system, but it succeeds at feeling like a full blown home console game.

I just picked up a physical copy of The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel because I hear a lot of good about these games. I like JRPGs, but haven't really dived into them because it feels like no matter where I start, I'm starting in the wrong place and it feels so overwhelming.

I go through times where I get obsessed with a specific console again, recently it was the PS3, and before that Sega Saturn.

What systems are you going back to, or maybe even finally getting to try for the first time?

What's your favorite console to collect for?

Hey folks, r/gamecollecting is/was one of my favorite subs, so I would love to see a community for it here! Let's start building this space with an easy question for discussion: what's your favorite console to collect for?

Personally, I really enjoy collecting for Xbox 360. Games are inexpensive and easy to find, there are lots of good exclusives, non-exclusives tend to be similar or better for the 360, and the controller design is simply excellent. My favorite game so far is Enslaved: Odyssey to the West. It has some issues, but it's generally a fun and engaging game.

Which console do you prefer collecting for and why?
