Can you scale down a firearm to make an identical looking firearm that fires a different round?
Like, could you make a smaller version of a 1911 that fires 22lr instead of .45 by just scaling all the parts to the 22lr?

Codilingus @sh.itjust.works There have been .22 conversion kits for 1911s for while now, Colt even used to make one. You basically replace the entire upper. Glock is another one I know has the same option. For whatever reasons, the mag round count is abysmally low though.
