Immersion heaters rock!

The stove in my new apartment was a fluke, but with a couple immersion heaters I got better boils than I've ever had!

But how bad is the washing?
- Not nearly as bad as I thought. Mostly just some scale.
  
  (those commercial beer makers often have exposed coils in the bottom, so it's no worse than that.)
