Finally got home from our trip. My partner has to work but I was able to get today off so I’m laying in bed with my best cat. This Friday we’re going to see the band Twin Tribes. We’ll probably be the oldest people there but idgaf because I love live music.
The second actually. Last Saturday we saw Enrique Iglesias, Pitbull, and Ricky Martin. They each played back to back which was kind of disappointing because they never got on the stage together.
I've been thinking of setting some goals for the month. I lost my primary hobby (temporarily 🤞), so I've just been reading and spending ungodly amounts of time on Lemmy & Reddit. I want to spend my time in a more healthy and fulfilling way...
What are some goals you all are working towards? What are your hobbies that make you feel fulfilled? What's something that makes you look forward to the (near) future?

Feel free to ask this in your own post, it seems like an interesting topic!
Sunburned on an island. First trip without a laptop. It's liberating. Less to carry, less to keep secure. Watching movies is s little annoying but doable. I only miss having a key oaed and mouse.
It’s only Tuesday and I’m ready for Friday. The child was vomiting this morning so I stayed home from work for a bit. Missed two hours of work. Arrived and clocked back in at 8:47 and told it cost me another 15 minutes of sick time. Way to support your employees.
My blood sugar was 228 a few hours ago. After an hour of exercise it dropped about 70 pts so still high but not concerningly so. Yay diabetes. It makes you feel sick and robbed of energy if you dont move enough and because you feel like that, good luck doing one of the main things that helps treat it. I basically have to use my brain and muscles pre-emptively to compensate for what most peoples' bodies do automatically. (regulate blood sugar)
