What are the dangly bits under the shovel hydraulics?
- I saw that and was wondering too, my guess is they help serve as a visual cue for when the bucket is about to hit the ground. Could be way off.
  
  That's what I'm going with too... or to more easily see the angle of the boom.
Hmm is it just one operator? Is there a pisser in there? Downtime is money!
