whotookkarl @lemmy.world Once a service introduces a sub + ad tier it's over and obvious they are just as greedy as cable TV and racing down the same path. I can't support that. Mostly sticking to physical media these days but still have a couple streams that are sub only no ads or ads without any subscription.

Tikiporch @lemmy.world Coax as in to gently persuade. I'd say 25% hike is more like coercion though, maybe that's the point you're making here?
