Maybe now national news outlets can finally interview a trans person for their pieces about whether trans people should exist. As it stands, it’s easier to get on cable news or an interview in The NY Times if you’re a white supremacist or even some old fuck in a swing state diner.
Profanity? In terms of four-letter words, I doubt it. But I could absolutely see a conservative house making political hay by deadnaming her and refusing to use her correct pronouns on the House floor.
I have to say… in this climate, all those in that second link have real guts to stand and be listed to serve the public that may literally turn around and stab them in the back.
