How are trending communities calculated?
How are trending communities calculated?
Clicking on the first two trending communities revealed a single post and a few comments. What makes it being listed as "trending"? or does it also just show new communities?

as already said by @slazer2au@lemmy.world, the naming is incorrect. Its rather "New Communities" than trending.

trending communities are going away in the next release iirc due to the current implementation not really being useful.
