Adding that to the list of reasons I dislike crypto and its fanboys (as if I needed another).
- If anonymous payments being scary is just now getting added to your list of reasons you don't like crypto, you clearly don't understand anything about the topic. I'm (obviously) against violent groups or extremists being able to fund raise, but what you are saying is akin to "I dislike texting because it allows people to communicate hate"
  
  I hold XMR and run a couple algos. I fully understand the need for anonymous payment. Crypto has been co-opted by AnCaps and hackers. It's absolutely appropriate to feel that 90% of crypto are rug pulls and pump and dump shit coins.
  
  XMR isn't a decentralized crypto, nor is it anonymous. It's corporate crypto-lite.
