I think it's because of the unprecedented amount of wealth hoarding by the .01 percent accompanied by unprecedented inequality and distribution of wealth.

I suppose it's a good thing, we need a slow, gentle population decline pretty badly IMO.
The thing is, it can and will be abused either way it goes, and keeping people alive has more benefit so far than killing them or letting them die...
Oh yeah, I agree. Those "jobs" they provide are burden on the taxpayers, as well as driving out small businesses.

I don't use soap, I just use a bit of hot water with the kitchen faucet sprayer and I have a flat metal spatula to scrape off any stuck on bits... wipe with paper towel and that's it.
