For YT Music: Innertune or Outertune are unbeatable for me!

I've used it for four years on my Fairphone 3 with no serious issues. I don't use their cloud storage solution so the recent outage didn't affect me at all. My battery often lasts up to 40 hours. I am very careful with what I install on the phone, but it works and is private/secure enough for my threat model. I recommend it wholeheartedly

Kagi is quite good but I've been using Qwant and Searx with great results as well and without having to pay.

For Maps I'd recommend Organic Maps and OSMAnd. For Gboard go with Florisboard, Heliboard or Thumb-Key if you feel like trying something new that actually makes you type faster.

I can't get the official app to work on Linux Mint 22 so I guess it also applies to VPN

Me and my husband do the same. It might seem silly but I can't stress the importance of sharing a meal together enough. It helps teach kids so many things in a shared household.

I tried the Paula's Choice one. It was good, gentle on the skin and very moisturising/nourishing.. Other than that, didn't notice much of a before & after.
