It’s what the English call a bachelorette party apparently.
Ha they sent me the same message, and while I was not booted as a mod, I led the protest effort in a few subs that I modded in and helped out over in Save3rdPartyApps. I didn’t delete my account, just went silent after resigning when other mods got cold feet as soon as it started to get real.
I fucking hate that piece of shit Trump, but even his arrest records in Georgia put him at 6’2”, which is by no means short. There are so many truths you could use to belittle that man, but his physical height is not one of them.
The aggression in Liotta’s laugher makes it the most appropriate gif.
More accurate would be to say she died on the way to the box office. I highly doubt these statements are going to negatively affect DJ in any way since there’s zero chance the story will continue.
I feel bad for this (possibly unpaid?) actor becoming a meme. She was duped the same as all the children and parents that bought tickets to that shitshow.
Was Israel why he was cancelled? I thought it was his criticism of China.
So AM stands for “Allied Mastercomputer,” thanks. I’m unfamiliar with the story, so I didn’t realize the phrase OP quoted was the title.
Where’d you get the A from? It’s called ”Project Maven” in the article which would make it PM.
The issue has nothing to do with sex work. Trump wasn’t being prosecuted for buying sex. He was indicted for using political donations to bribe someone, and you think that should somehow be legal? Just stop with this ridiculous exercise in whataboutism. Your head is way too far up your ass to make any sense.
That must have been before he was aware of Aubrey.
I think he may be the only person on earth that has more of a unibrow when he doesn’t even have eyebrows.
Sure, criticize the woman for charging people for sex rather than the absolute chump who paid a quarter of a million dollars to hide the fact that he got his pee-pee sucked. That sure sounds like the type of smooth brain deflection a trump supporter would try, but the rest of us ain’t stupid or bigoted enough to fall for it.
But that’s a huge downside to most people.
“No no, silly heathen. The death penalty is for sinners, and unborn babies are without sin.”
They have zero interest in capital punishment reform.
I vote for Super Switch
It’s so pathetic to me that Trump named one of his sons after his alter ego.
TIL Star Trek’s (1966) theme song originally had lyrics written by Gene Roddenberry, who wrote them solely to usurp half of the royalties from composer Alexander Courage. The lyrics never aired.
The theme to the original 'Star Trek' television series officially includes never-used lyrics.
And they were comically bad:
> Beyond the rim of the star-light My love Is wand'ring in star-flight I know he'll find in star-clustered reaches Love, strange love a star woman teaches. I know his journey ends never His star trek will go on forever. But tell him while he wanders his starry sea Remember, remember me.
What hapened to Post/Comment Scores in User Profiles?
It looks like this was a larger decision from the lemmy development community in an attempt to eliminate karma farming. They say it’s psychologically damaging, and as someone who looks at them a lot, they may be right.
Here’s a GitHub thread discussing it where our Voyager dev weighs in:
https://github.com/LemmyNet/lemmy/issues/3393#issuecomment-1779400639
Why did Lemmy change from post/comment score to count?
On every lemmy app/instance I’ve checked, it seems that the post and comment scores on users’ profiles have been replaced by post and comment counts.
I often look at scores to quickly check a person’s credibility/involvement, and the count is much less helpful than the score in that regard. I could see this data maybe being removed because it was too server intensive to calculate, but maybe there’s some other reason.
I’ve searched and can’t seem to find any explanation for this change in release notes, but maybe I’m just not searching correctly. Does anyone know why this change was made?
I can’t comment on Mlem
For some reason, Mlem won’t let me comment and gives me an error each time I try.
I am signed on with my Lemmy.world username without issue and am posting this post from that account using Mlem, but I cannot comment for some reason while I have no problems commenting from other apps.
Is anyone else having this issue? Is there any other info I can provide to help track this issue?
