Good shoes and a good mattress. Those things can really have a profound impact on quality of life.
This is happening right now on a major road that goes through our city. There are complaints about it daily on our forum. I'm getting tired of reading it.

We're just looking for something cooler than "I'm American."
We work with high schoolers and have for over 25 years. My husband is a high school band director. This is absolutely completely true and getting worse each year. COVID really contributed to very rapid decline in mental health, and we're only more seeing kids get just a tad better. Many parents aren't willing to make the hard choices for their kids and turn off these devices. The kids are not ok and we as a society are doing nothing to fix it.
And yet society has decided that everybody wants to be around dogs all the time and every place.
As a gigging musician, I play the Little Drummer Boy challenge every year. Perhaps you would enjoy it!

I want to know what faith has to do with gender?
Signed, a Christian.
I am a lady and absolutely hate feet, even my husband's. And I'm starting to cringe that my preteen son's feet are starting to look like man feet...
TIL that a trans woman could still produce more milk than I could!
Yes, every pull off is very clearly marked that there is no parking. They've made some trolley only. There is a parking lot about a mile down the road and the only way to get there is by walking up the road... Where people are driving. Perhaps there is a hike in the woods, but it was so busy on a Tuesday that we didn't even try.
My husband and I just spent a few days there and had a great time! It's really hard to get to Fawn's Leap now, we were only able to view it from the road.
Bonus is that you can still watch TV and knit!
I'm a theater musician and have a lot of down time during some shows I do. I had found myself playing too much "Words with Friends" during those times. I learned how to knit, which is something I can both do in a pit, but also take with me wherever I go. I feel much more productive when I'm able to make things rather than just scroll or play games. It's pretty simple to learn using YouTube videos, and you can often get materials secondhand.
My city in Michigan, U.S. is putting in bike lanes on our biggest road through the suburbs. People are definitely up in arms about it, but I can't wait to be able to ride my bike on this road, which is not possible to do safely now.
