Tidal crew. We don't have podcasts either. It's nice.
Yeah the framing of this article is hilarious to me. I believe it, but it's very funny to see. I kept half expecting to see a bunch of users of the software filing a class action or something. 😂

I ran across this on an acoustic guitar playlist. As a huge Pink Floyd fan, I don't think I've heard many covers of this track!
Wait what's wrong with Brave? Is there drama?!
Hell yeah dude, watching this slow motion explosion is the best thing since the SimCity launch. 😂
I've been on Tidal for over a year with barely any bugs. Highly recommend!
poor babies...
I definitely made a point to visit the Physical Graffiti building when I was in NYC. Made for a very cool photo!
By the end of this, my only subscription will be to dropout.tv
Ah yes who could have possibly seen this coming
Okay but, we don't do that around here. And when we do, we don't enforce it.
I was wondering why the Klingons were all pissed off about singing. They love their opera.
....and then I saw the performance and was like ah yeah I bet that would be completely humiliating for them. 😂
I loved this episode!

I can't watch the video, it gives me a headache. But other people seem to love it, so I'm linking to it instead of a still image. You may need to minimize the tab though.
It's very silly that this exists but it's also cool that it does?
Question about playlists
I'm just getting into NewPipe. It seems great, except there's one feature that I'm really missing from the official YT app.
I was able to subscribe to a playlist, and that's working great. But, if instead of hitting "Play All" you just pick one of the videos from the playlist, it doesn't have the rest of the playlist queued up next, it just plays the one video and then whatever algorithmic stuff comes up next. I want it to have the remaining playlist in the queue next.
When you have a playlist on youtube, if you click one in the middle, it's like you just started the playlist from there.
When you have a playlist in NewPipe, if you click one in the middle, it just plays the one video and then wanders off.
Any way to affect this? I've dug through the settings, but I'm hoping I just missed it.
Looking forward to overhearing incels at bars starting every third reply with "as an AI language model, I..."
Pretty sure that thing about likes, boosts, and favorites not showing up as a count is just a setting. I see full counts.
We all get that reddit is doing this intentionally right?
Like, all the nerds (hi it's me) that are mad about the changes can make angry art, coordinate to really "send a message," the event wraps up, everyone goes "wow we really did something here." and then reddit moves on with it's life.
/r/place is the "using change dot org to send a message to powerful people" of reddit.
Honestly this shit is so cool. I love when you get to see under the hood of some big fancy tech, and it's all being run by like a TI-83 or whatever.
The only solution I've found on mobile without installing security certificates and stuff is to use You tube's website on Firefox with ublock installed there too.
I'm sure that's all they'll use it for.
YouTube Music Podcast is the worst name for a product I've heard in a long time.
I suppose for video podcasts it'll be YouTube Music Podcast Video
oh this rules! I hope this is eventually built-in, but this'll do wonderfully for now!
Can I view a list of the communities of a lemmy instance while logged into my own?
For instance I know i can navigate to https://lemmy.ml/c/daystrominstitute@startrek.website to see the "daystrominstitute" community at startrek.website, but is there a way where I can see all (or even just the most popular) communites at startrek.website, while still logged into my lemmy.ml instance (so i can just hit the subscribe button if i want to join)?
