It's fucking weird that PP won't get a security clearance. He's hiding something. His comment that it allows him to talk publicly about the subject is so dumb. He wants to talk publicly about something he doesn't have all the information about? Why would anyone vote for this kind of leadership?
I should have followed up on this, but I purchased a year of nest whatever it's called for the doorbell camera subscription so it could save the history. There was a great deal that was essentially half price for a year.
Then all of a sudden my nest subscription was cancelled even though I had a month left from my previous subscription. They said there was a problem with the payment. Never had any problems with my card before or after, but this one instance was a problem. Also, the deal I had purchased was no longer available so they wouldn't just let me pay again.
Total bait and switch from Google and I should have followed up with a consumer agency to make them pay for that. I've been very anti-google ever since though.
We need Captain Planet more than ever these days.

He didn't think that far ahead.
I've never even seen a single screw like that here in Canada. We mostly use Robertson bits (square hole) which was invented in Canada and laugh at the US for the little feud with the Ford motor company that eneded up with them using the Philips bits (plus shaped hole) for their stuff. But then all their culture leaks over here anyway and most things use Philips anyway. Construction is pretty much all Robertson.
Aren't all wood screws self-tapping?
Appears to be about 9 hours of total cutscene time in Metal Gear Solid 4. The 70 minute cutscene is the longest on video game history.
4 hours of cutscenes...
Stay away from the summoner!
It's been pretty awesome here in Calgary. Was getting worried there that ski season was going to be delayed. But I love a good snow dump to start winter. It sucks when it's cold and icy but no snow to cover things up.
Probably sucks for anyone that has to commute right now though.
Go then. There are other elections than these.
Sorry, re-read The Gunslinger recently.
I was actually thinking about the Canadian election that is coming up.
I figured that something like that must already exist, but I had never heard of it. Probably why they're not very effective.
Oh, and thanks for linking them. I'll check it out and at least sign up for the newsletter.
Edit nevermind, the newsletter hasn't had a release since December 2021.
I've been thinking that we need to create a voting block of people who will vote for climate emergency policies. Similar to how unions have political strength due to advising their members who to vote for, this organization would advise members on who in local elections is the best for positive climate initiatives.
I think a block of voters is needed because right now climate wasn't even an issue in the US election. We need to organise so that these policies are a target for politicians looking to obtain votes.
The Weimersmith knows. He's on Mastadon too.
N64 adventure games (except Mario). They were just janky messes with horrible frame rage camera issues, target hitting issues and weird looking environments. Looking at you Castlevania, but I can't think of any others that I would want to play again either.
I miss when humble bundle was actually humble.
Scott Arniel becomes the first head coach in NHL history to record a winning streak of at least eight games from the start of his tenure with a franchise.
Its been a pretty fun start to the season. Just really don't want the streak to end to the Leafs, but I'm kinda expecting it.

'Today is the day we have all been waiting for,' says city director.
Camping in the backyard tonight. Heard huge noise at 2am and house has no power. Police helicopter circling around.
Just wondering what happened. Electrical substation sabotage?

Latest on 27 and an update on Colby Barlow.
Man, I can't believe he's injured already. Love the guy but you can't expect to get even half of a season out of him it seems.

Thousands of banking records exposed after Alberta dental benefits administrator hacked
The Alberta Dental Service Corporation was hacked between May 7 and July 9. The hackers communicated that they were holding data ransom and demanded cryptocurrency in payment.
> On Thursday, the Alberta Dental Service Corporation (ADSC) said it had been hacked between May 7 and July 9. On the final day, the hackers communicated they had encrypted the data, were holding it ransom and demanded cryptocurrency in payment. > > Lyle Best, the ADSC president, said the organization’s cyberinsurance was immediately engaged and the ransom was paid, recovering the data with a minimal loss of that data. Best also noted the corporation had secure backups.
Oh for fucks sake! You don't pay the ransom if you have backups! You're just enabling the hackers to make more attacks!
