Theoretically, it has been since the Germans lost WW1
My Excalibur just came out of my foundry today. I'm excited to try him out!
Anyone calling a politician's rise to power a "glorious victory" is a walking, talking red flag
It's just the type of paper filter that was used. The person in the post used a flat-bottom filter when a No°3 or No°4 cone filter would've been better. (As an extra aside, the specific type of pour over device seems to be from Starbucks, and those come with No°3 cone filters to begin with.)
Calvin is, for lack of a better term, a little shit. Basically, his mom decided to become a stay-at-home parent since she was used to stress and frustration, which are things that a young child would also have in spades.
Even a broken clock is right twice a day...

Free consolation? No, money down!
That's definitely one way to get a divorce
That's more McNally's style tbh
What are some good books you've been reading lately?
I'll start first: (bear in mind I usually listen to audiobooks)
- Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir |A guy finds himself stranded in space aboard an international space vessel where he has to remember who he is.
- The 57 Bus by Dashka Slater |A true story about how hanging with the wrong crowd can have life-altering consequences
- The Animorphs series by KJ Applegate |Young adult series in which a group of kids find an alien, get the powers to morph shape into animals, as well as uncover an alien takeover conspiracy (Plus, detailed depictions of how grotesque those transformations are!)
- Saga by Brian K. Vaughn & Fiona Staples (Comic, ongoing) |Following the story of Hazel, a baby born from an ex-soldier and an enemy combatant, Saga shows how gowing up and raising a kid in a wartorn universe can have highs and lows.
Edit: added pipes for better separation
Wow, misogynistic and homophobic? Talk about a home run.
Alright, this is a good way to show why AI is so dangerous! I usually look at thumbnails before reading article titles, so when I read the title, my brain auto replaced butter with peanut butter.
What's with the consistent amount of "American Democracy is dead" rhetoric I've been seeing lately? It's not like Trump is president yet. And sure, Biden isn't going to make too much impact as a lame duck, but even after Trump takes office again, there's a lot he can do, and a whole lot more he won't be able to. The power is still in the hands of the people, especially at the local level. America's democracy isn't dead, and saying anything of the sort is obeying in advance.
No, the real way to show 'em is to punch them square in the jaw. If you're acting the part of a Nazi, you'd better get ready for what the public is prepared to do to Nazis.
Didn't fall for Original OP, but I fell for that one. Lmao
Yesterday and today feel like I'm reliving my mom's election loss back in 2016. I was too young then to understand the weight behind what was going on at the time, although I did at least understand why Trump seemed like a dumb candidate. Anyways, I distinctly remember how when it was obvious that Hillary lost, even though she won the popular vote, that something wasn't right. My mom was sobbing while looking for places to move into, since we were moving out anyways. Now, 8 years later, I'm having those exact same feelings as she did except with my boyfriend on my side, knowing very well that come January that if nothing happens, we could very well be one of his first targeted groups. I fucking hate this timeline, man.
Here's a good video showing it. It's so ridiculous lol
Spearmint would be good too if you're going for a slightly sweeter, less intense flavor than peppermint!
Hey, now I know how many dimples the average golf ball has! (Plus a new way to torture my players!)
I think it's generally a culture thing; you don't eat your beasts of burden (oxen, horses, etc) and you don't eat your animaux de compagnie. Not just because they're useful and you would more than likely have a connection to them, but generally speaking, these are very lean animals, barely any fat on them, plus the fact that unless you know what you're doing and make the slaughtering of your animal quick and painless, endocrines get released into the muscle tissue, making the meat bitter.
Isn't Halloween about getting the most sugary, most unhealthy candy though?
