The NYPost has an article about the Nashville shooter. Before she went through with the shooting she texted an old friend about it. The friend got interviewed and for whatever reason the NYPost used a Facebook picture of her all glammed up. It's really out of place.
Everyone really does need to have that at the forefront of their mind. When the C-suit, wall street, and politicians talk about "Americans" they aren't talking about us schlubs.
¯_(ツ)_/¯
Generative AI is an effective coding assistant
"they" isn't a rando or employee of one of these AI companies right? And why are you fabricating quotes? I'm just trying to show something can be an effective tool even if it doesn't meet your specific expectations.
A flat head screw driver is still an effective tool even though it can't work with hex screws. If you are using a tool that doesn't understand angle brackets on something that requires angle brackets, the problem isn't the tool. It's the user who can't manage their own expectations.
I always see posts like this and don't understand. I use AI successfully for code every day. Do y'all just not know how to ask the right questions? Is this one of those things where if it isn't 100% effective in every situation it's crap?
We aren't drawing straws when ol monkey torture racist and dedicated misogynist who ran a campaign to convince tweens Hitler wasn't so bad is around
That's because evil is default and good takes constant effort to even exist
"Hey everyone we figured out low power AI!" Then it turns out to be a bunch of people on disability Neuralink'd together into a customer support LLM.
It's one or the other only. You have to choose a side now.
Look. I voted for trump on Nov 5th. It's the 7th now so that's the past and I said I'm sorry. You can't bring up my past decisions and hold them against me. People can grow, learn, and change. You have to forgive and forget and if you don't then you are the problem and need therapy.
It's basic cheater logic
My work sends out "anonymous" surveys about random stuff to get a feel for what's working and what's causing problems. If you don't fill it out you get an email from HR reminding you that you haven't filled out the "anonymous" survey.
I'm using the same stupid all or nothing logic the people I replied to are using. If playing a concert in Israel means you support Israel then purchasing items or items with components made in China means you support China. If you elect a representative that votes to send aid to the afghans then you support Al Qaeda. It sounds stupid because it is. Just like saying Radio Head supports the Israeli government and it's actions by playing a concert there is stupid.
Forgive me again. I'm dumb. Shouldn't we boycott any country and all of it's citizens who purchase things made in China? What with the whole Uyghurs thing going on right now? Also what about nations that give humanitarian aid to Afghanistan? BRICS nations and basically the whole West are all tangentially connected to current ongoing atrocities as are the countries that willfully receive aid from those nations. So just so I know who to support. What countries are clean enough for Radio Head to play there?
Not to sound dumb but do you have a list of places they can play? I'm not super informed and would like to be. Specifically what places can they play that a quick Google won't invalidate with historic or current atrocities?
Floor to ceiling with birth certificates and emails
My dad recently died of COPD. He did smoke unfiltered lucky strikes from 18 until smoking hurt too much at 75. It's a wild ride watching someone suffocate while taking full deep breaths. He said the attacks felt like drowning. Would not recommend smoking.
Hey whaddya know they were. That's unfortunate.
Just to be clear. In 2005 I thought the celebrities partying was cool. Had I known about the P Diddling I wouldn't have thought it was cool .
Who distances themselves from thinking celebrity parties are cool? Is this that retroactive distancing stuff? Like hindsight posturing? Now that we know about the rapes you never thought rich famous celebrities partying were cool back in 2005?
