Someone who was struggling often comes to talk to me, and after we have conversations they feel better. Last week after a conversation, they gave me a hug and told me "I don't know what I'd do without you, you're the best person I know" and I'm not gonna lie I teared up... 😭

As others have said 256 GB really isn't very much if you're going to play modern AAA games on it. I got ARK on my computer which is around 200 GB and a lot of AAA games nowadays are at least a couple dozen GB, with some in the hundreds. It can be annoying having to pick and choose which games to wipe to free up space, so just a heads up!
Can confirm the thing about failing HDD's. Both of mine are failing but one is significantly worse than the other, things fail in certain parts, like entire folders, or just a few corrupt files. When I've had flash drives go bad it's catastrophic (which is why I have like five of them oop)
Pikmin music, I've had this playing much of the day while drawing haha, it's such a playful sounding tune! I absolutely ADORE the part that starts at 1 minute 33 seconds, I dunno something about it just makes me intensely happy, and I keep catching myself bobbing slowly to the beat while drawing away ❤️
My friends, family, drawing, having a nice home to live in, good food and fun stuff to do ❤️ I try and avoid negativity by searching for things I'm interested in to engage with, such as art, nature photography, cat photos, and videogames. Some websites let you tailor your feed to your liking!

For the teeth, do whatever you want with them. The lore accurate colours are the same colours I used here, pink, white and red. Although I tend to make the main body colour a shade of off-white (to help differentiate between the brilliant white teeth and the body) I don't mind what type of white you use for the body. Once again thank you so much! It makes my day that people are interested in my characters enough that they want to do something like this! ❤️

I was surprised when I learned that Pikmin 3 is often disliked or even hated. It's shamelessly my fave game of the series. I get that the story is shorter than it should be and it's more linear but it has this charm that's unmatched, and I enjoy the graphics style so much that it inspired several facets of my artstyle even. Also the mission mode is just the right difficulty and a ton of fun!
My Sunday's going great! I'm in this weird hungry mood though and it got so bad that I'm now sketching a drawing that has this huge french fry burger in it haha 😂

Nope, one had suicidal ideation because of being harassed by people, the other because of an abusive relationship.
When I was 11 my dad allowed me to drive. It was a quiet road down a forested mountain at night, and I learned two things:
My dad trusted me enough to drive down this mountain road at night, and driving a car is surprisingly easy
My first attempt at 3D sculpting in Zbrush! It's of my angel character Goodie (larval form)! I hope you all enjoy!
Had to upload the video to Internet Archive since Lemmy doesn't like largeish file sizes. Zbrush's UI is a little bit weird, and definitely takes some time to become accustomed to, but I'm pretty happy with how this turned out!😃
What type of weather is your favourite?
I sometimes feel like an outlier because Autumn and Winter happen to be my favourite seasons. I love chilly air since I deal with the cold way better than I do with the heat, and I find it so much more refreshing... my all time favourite type of weather is best described with a picture (Disclaimer: not my photo!)
Sunny, snowy weather where the visibility is high, everything's blanketed in powdery, sparkly snow, and there's not a cloud in the sky. It's just such a vibe and it instantly makes me happy! 😃 What type of weather is your favourite and why?
My boy Goodie (a biblically accurate angel OC) must be getting old or something, because I gave his grown-up form wrinkles for some reason LMAO 😂
Concept sketch of his grown-up form! I've planned to remove the wings from his back and just replace the front flippers with wings to try and simplify his design a little more while still looking fluid. Goodie is not a bad guy, he's just a little mischievous... and has a bit of a penchant for swallowing any demons unfortunate enough to be able to fit into his 3-4 ft (0.9-1.2 m) long mouth whole. I drew his larval form way back in June and this drawing will be of his mature form! 😃 Honestly love how weird and goofy he looks.

I've been in this weird hyper mood lately. I don't know why, but I'm not complaining, since I expended some of that energy on this drawing! Originally it wasn't going to have a background, but it didn't take me long to draw EVE herself so I figured why not add a little background to it too? Little things which always make your day
For me it's any of these things:
People commenting on my art. I deeply cherish the fact that someone has taken time out of their day to say nice things about my work!
People calling me pretty. I get this quite a lot, but it always hits just as it does the first time! 😊
Finding a new song that I end up becoming incredibly addicted to, to the extent that I play said song on repeat throughout the course of the day and then it no longer registers as a song the next day, similar to when you say a word over and over, and it no longer feels like a word? That type of thing... 😂
What are some things that would generally be considered to be trivial/small, that when they happen, never fail to just make your day?
I always wanted to draw some kind of omega angel which creates new angels, so I did! I call this one "REPRODUCE"! (Progress pictures, full resolution drawing and PaintTool SAI file in description)

I wanted to draw an ophanim again, as they are my fave type of angels. I wanted to draw one that was above the others, one which could create new angels, so I drew one! I originally envisioned it to have a spherical core, but I'm really glad that I settled on the dodecahedron in the end! I hope you all enjoy! 😃
