I'll never understand how economies work, I just assume it's all imaginary money.
Currently trying this, there was a meetup in my city but I learned about it too late and second one I was sick, also went to animefest a city over but I was too shy to talk to people, had a friend introduce me to some of their friends but I did not really click with them I'm not that into pokemon like they are but it was still fun. It sucks that people live far apart.
That would require them to think long term and logically , Also i assume lots of companies would not like that they won't be able to get as much profit.
Don't get me wrong I definitely agree but there's just so much things that would work better, be cheaper more efficient and better for the environment but that would cost money and not make much profit. Sometimes I have hope people will get fed up with this BS and change happens but mostly I'm skeptical.
All kinds mainly automation but also love tf2. Factorio, timber born, fallout, space engineers, valheim,
This would be great, now just to find some extrovert that would adopt me.
All my hobbies are inside, gaming, movies, anime, tv shows, cooking/baking. Was looking into some larp club but there are only for kids and teenagers.
How do lonely people find friends/ how did you find friends?
As a shut in with social anxiety and very introverted I'm wondering how to find friends now that I got better. Basically starting from zero since I know nobody in my city so I'm wondering if someone has some experience with finding friends as lonely anxious introvert and just how other people find friends.
Don't they already just avoid paying taxes by not having a salary and just using bank loans or something? So they have no actual money in the bank
Seeing this just makes me want a tv that is just a monitor, no crap you just plug in your own thing whatever you want.
Same here, not sure if it's because of parents telling us to finish the plate and we can't leave until it's empty (I wasn't picky eater I think) but whenever I have food I just can't put it away for later once it's open or on plate I have to eat it all.
It might not be as polished and pretty but I prefer the simplicity and focus on just doing the thing it was made to do. Medilog is perfect example for this I'd say, it basically just storing text nothing fancy just regular inputs and calculates BMI. But best is I don't have to deal with internet connection and having an account cuz it's all just stored locally and that's why I love lots of Foss stuff it's just simple and doesn't need account and internet access depending what app it is. Still discovering Foss bus so far am very pleased.
I'd like to listen to audiobooks but it's hard for me to focus on them when I'm doing other stuff, especially outside/commute because of anxiety.
Tried get my dad to use Linux for his work but had problems with his clients not being able to open the files he sent using the Linux word and Excell programs. So that's clear for him not to use Linux.
Recently I have problem with high you and cpu usage, mainly GPU(GeForce 1060). Trying to troubleshoot it and updating drivers but so far it's still doing it with game that shouldn't be that demanding (timber born). So I'm debating switching completely to Linux already have Linux mint on second drive but remember having problems with the GPU drivers too. So while I like the simplicity and not bloated os not sure I want to troubleshoot other stuff and learning new os and using command line. I'm still very much noob with Linux so just want to ideally set it and for it just work and occasionally update without stuff breaking. -just a bit of rant about deciding, sorry if it doesn't belong here.
Simple mushroom pizza
Probably won't ever learn to stretch the dough properly but so far they turned out alright.
Nice, I didn't see any posts from goblin core in quite a while. This would fit I suppose.
I assume that's how creativity works? Making new different things gets you more ideas than doing similar thing over and over.
That would be great, just have a place where you could do nothing. Just couch some TV shows maybe like a club but for us. Are there even places where you could just go and do whatever? Not clubs where you do specific thing just like go there to hangout and maybe play games with others. Or just hang doing nothing.
Anxiety sucks, or is there different reasons why I don't have irl friends?
I just read the comments.
It's a shame because there's quite a few games with big potential that could be just small fun game you pullout in the waiting room but then is riddled with ads and micro transactions and the cheapest engaging stuff they could make.
