They don't have better retention rates.
CA, NY, IL and MA are all in the top 5 for states that have the most people leaving.
TX, FL, NC and AZ are attracting the most people.
Massachusetts has priced out average people. If you aren't the inheritor of some generational wealth you have a better chance of being upwardly mobile elsewhere.
You go on Joe Rogan for one. Kamala ran the last presidential campaign that will ever rely so heavily on the legacy media apparatus. This whole cycle proved that they are only broadcasting to themselves and real people are elsewhere on podcasts, twitter and YT.
Gotcha. FWIW I have no bone to pick with Oklahoma at all. If anything the fact that people criticize it for being a backwater probably means that it's awesome.
Unlike Massachusetts which was totally uninhabited when people settled there.
How is Massachusetts being outrageously expensive not diametrically opposed to "quality of life"? The average person can't get ahead in Massachusetts which is why they are leaving to go elsewhere.
There's higher demand to live in Florida and Texas. Look at the domestic immigration numbers. People are leaving CA, NY, IL and MA in droves.
Assuming that is a missile silo or something in which case I stand corrected on that front!
How is people leaving almost exclusively "progressive" places an indicator of competition?
Look at the inverse of that chart. Most people in the country are moving to places like Florida, Texas and Idaho.
Massachusetts is also 4th in the country for states with the most people leaving to live elsewhere.
No doubt due to cost of living because Massachusetts is ridiculously expensive. The friends I have there are either leaving or totally resigned to not owning a house or ever retiring. Comparing a historically important coastal population center to a historically poor and strategically insignificant flyover state doesn't prove much.
The states with highest domestic emigration (e.g. people voting with their feet to leave) are overwhelmingly left leaning. (Except for Louisiana and Ohio)
Tbf calling it peasant class is more honest. The new planes economy sections must have been designed by the same people who designed cattle cars.
As someone "on the right" this is actually good advice for the future. The left's obsession with victimhood and the orwellian nomenclature for "identity" is tiresome to the average person.
"Cishet", for example, is basically a pejorative for "normal person".

the insurrection never happened
You mean a poorly managed protest turned riot? This is a prime example of why people hate the news. Cities across the US were vandalized by "fiery but peaceful" Black Lives Matter protests but when a bunch of loons show up at the capital with flags and digital cameras for an afternoon it's somehow a legitimate attempt to overthrow the most powerful government in the world. There were no fire fights there was no violence en masse. It was a bunch of useful idiots being useful idiots. All that being said he should have managed it better. HOWEVER there was never any shadow of a doubt that power would transition to the next President at any point. Anyone thinking a dude in a viking helmet was going to prevent Joe Biden from becoming President is an idiot.
Read about the Nazis. Learn about the mafia and how they operate.
Lmao. You are off your rocker. Why don't you turn off your computer and touch grass instead of being a terminally online pearl clutcher? I know politics is corrupt. It's been corrupt since it's inception. Surprise the democrats are corrupt too. Look at everyone's stock portfolios and the fact that they stay in government forever despite never having a real job.
While there are always dirty tricksters, what's happening now is generational shift of power. Trump is a boomer but most of his backers are Silicon Valley Gen Xers and they want to change the political landscape. That means geriatric boomer policies and government bloat are going out the door in favor of more libertarian leaning policies. I'm not totally onboard with that approach but at least someone has an idea and they want to try it.
What we’re watching isn’t hysteria. It’s so obvious to anyone paying attention.
I'm paying attention, actually live in the United States, I disagree and so does the majority of America. Continue with your "sky is falling narrative" no one is listening to you anymore. It's tiresome and you're wrong.

Okay
That’s why everything is concepts of a plan, except the things that dictators generally do.
What does this even mean? Catch your breath man you sound like you're hyperventilating.
It might shock you, but dictators and Nazis built up their power over years.
No way. You mean they didn't just press the Nazi button?! Yeah investment over time is a prerequisite for ANY POLITICAL MOVEMENT. Trump was a joke in 2015 and now he has changed the political landscape by discrediting the establishment and bringing in outsiders. You may not like that. You may disagree with them but none of that is consequential. There is definitely a cult of personality but this go round it seems he actually has an administration that represents continuity beyond his next term.
They do things like encourage violence against their opponents and make jokes when they get attacked
The left does this all the time. Antifa, BLM, COVID gestapo etc etc. The left calls people they disagree with racists, fascists, nazis and thugs precisely so they can dehumanize them and justify writing them off completely. Guess what? Not only is that hypocritical it's a failing strategy.
he’s definitely going to be happy to transfer power
Bookmarking so I can laugh at you when he does.
You also failed to tell me how he's targeting gay people or who the corrupt judges are. Presumably because there's no there there.
Every young adult is struggling with insecurities.
This is a totally different statement.
You can act like that is “anti-masculine” sentiment but it isn’t
Saying men are insecure when it's the case across the board means it's fair game to call you out. It sounds like fundamentally we don't disagree though.
young men who are very insecure about themselves anyway
Nice anti-masculine sentiment. No wonder they voted Trump. You guys don't hide your disdain as well as you think you do.
feel attacked by the left and choose the right.
Lol I wonder why...
More hysteria. The reality is you are the one guilty of the brainwashing you accuse other people of. You're watching boomer television and thinking that's what Trump voters are watching when in reality it's only 60+ year olds. Most voters have abandoned legacy media platforms because they are garbage.
Dehumanizing foreigners
We have an open border in the United States with near zero enforcement. If somebody crosses the border and is caught they are processed, given a court date and sent on their way. I've heard estimates as high as 25 million for illegal immigrants. That's a high enough number where these people are visible in our society. Many of them are good people but even well meaning immigrants are a massive drain. Ironically leftists say they will do jobs Americans won't do which is essentially admitting they are slave labor. Additionally they do create crime, heavily modify demographics, drive up home prices and cause issues by driving without insurance etc etc.
Trump didn't make up a fairytale that doesn't exist. He's tapping into a very real frustration people have that Biden/Harris have completely ignored for the last four years. Is the cats and dogs thing hyperbolic? Sure but that's Trump and I'm not here to defend the stupid stuff he says.
He's targeting the LGBTI
How?
He's targeting journalists
Journalists are scum bags and have been for a long time. They used to be working class people that reported the news. Now they are elitist nepo-babies that pedal narratives to manufacture consent. They've been gaslighting America ever since Trump came into the picture by telling people that what they are seeing with their own eyes isn't real. (e.g. inflation is down even though it's it's not, the country isn't demographically shifting because of massive immigration)
Regardless his "targeting journalists" is literally just insulting them by telling them they are bad at their job which they are. He also refuses to give press conferences which I think is hilarious.
replacing them with corrupt judges
Who are they and what makes them corrupt? The fact that they disagree with you on certain issues is insufficient.
He already promised it. Here’s a list: https://theconversation.com/trump-has-vowed-to-be-a-dictator-on-day-one-with-this-day-now-coming-what-exactly-will-he-do-243049
None of the executive orders in that article are illegal or unwelcome to his voters. (e.g. firing special counsel, mass deportation and eliminating Green New Deal BS) Regarding the most "egregious" EO around special counsel -- Trump would have never faced the lawfare he is in the midst of if he wasn't running for President so only his detractors see removing special counsel as something scary. Everyone else is happy to see it because the investigations (much like Mueller) were a failed attempt to dissuade voters from electing him.
Executive orders are used heavily by every president particularly in the last 25 years. You can go look up the number of executive orders Obama issued to inform yourself on that. "I'll be a dictator on day one" was a joke and you are taking the brainwashed takes of hysterical left wing news to think he's literally Hitler when he's literally been President before and pre-covid life was uneventful during his term.
Why do you think people think Trump will fix pricing? It’s because of murdoch news networks. You’ll notice the same information parroted by a lot of Right wingers after Sky news mentions it.
He's going with a tariff strategy which I honestly have reservations about. It goes against most economic strategies because it's protectionist but he is correct in that that we are being taken advantage of by competitors like China and our trade deficits are materially impacting us. Kamala Harris wanted price controls which is an even more stupid idea.
If sky news didn’t exist or were more neutral, Trump would have been royally F**ked
Twitter won this election. SkyNews like CNN, MSNBC etc etc is obsolete. Everyone laughed at Eon when he bought Twitter because "he'll never make money with it". Twitter was heavily censored along with every other major website in 2020 which stymied discussions about COVID etc. Collaboration with the US government was clear in the documents that Musk released. Twitter is now the only major place on the internet where people can say literally anything they want and have a low chance of being censored. It's more free than Lemmy. This makes leftists seethe because they want to control the narrative and don't want people talking about things freely. 'Racist', 'fascist', 'hitler' blah blah blah. The left has been hyperbolically saying the sky is falling for too long and furthermore insulting normal people for taking issue with America transforming into an unaffordable, third world shithole. People have had enough and voted accordingly. You're going to need to calm down and stop insulting normal people if you want to be taken you seriously. "Everyone who voted Trump is deranged and brainwashed" is a laughably low-tier emotional argument that doesn't acknowledge all the ways the left has failed and found itself at this point.

A Brief History of Russian Orthodoxy In America

Metropolitan Jonah (ROCOR) gives an informative lecture on the history of Russian Orthodoxy in America.
Ever wonder why there are so many overlapping jurisdictions in North America? American bishops were at a synod in Moscow when Lenin's bolshevik coup started. The bishops were murdered. This decapitated the Orthodox church in America and prevented the fulfillment of unifying differing jurisdictions into a larger body. The results are still visible today.
The communists murdered over 250,000 clergy and 20 million Christians over the course of the Soviet era. As a result ROCOR is perhaps one of the strongest anti-communist organizations in the United States today.
