The FIA keeps firing and losing people left and right.
I've seen a few news outlets state this, but not found an official statement regarding their engine supplier.
It seems to be a photo shoot that was not done during the filming of AAA, but probably for promo purposes recently
Last episode of the show has been out for a month now, I don't think we have to hide spoilers anymore
Disney's Cruise line restaurant will show an "exclusive" scene with America Chavez, Cassie Lang and Riri Williams
Disney's new Worlds of Marvel experience features an MCU team-up that fans have been waiting for.
Basically, this is an restaurant auboard the Disney cruise ship offering "interactive shows and entertainment headlined by Marvel Studios stars".
>In the new scene, the trio are seated at a table on the upper deck of the Disney ship. Since they have been eating, the clip may be a callback to The Avengers post-credits scene.
While this article does clickbaity "Young Avengers" speculation, the video shown at a press screening can be viewed there. Also includes this statement:
>"We are kind of in our own theme park universe, and the Multiverse concept's great because we're a Variant of the main MCU timeline, so it helps everyone understand that."
Are you talking about: "from the pov of the US"?
Because otherwise: no, obviously absolutely not.
Same, millennial here and I massively prefer card view over having to click again. Similarly I want a Mastodon interface in which links are shown as link preview cards.
I hope they coordinate on this.
We have Mastodon Migration's "Follow Packs": https://mastodonmigration.wordpress.com/2024/11/20/mastodon-follow-pack-directory-nov-20-2024/
Dansup is working on "starter kits" for the fediverse: https://github.com/pixelfed/apska
Now Gagron's team is working on a similar thing.
Stefan Bohucek is imperimenting with a separate version too. We'll end up with multiple implementations of this.
Now imagine if they announce that Cadillac will use Viry engines for 2026 and 2027 😅
The F1 press release is pretty transparent on that part:
"Over the course of this year, they have achieved operational milestones and made clear their commitment to brand the eleventh team GM/Cadillac, and that GM will enter as an engine supplier at a later time. Formula 1 is therefore pleased to move forward with this application process and will provide further updates in due course."
They are straight up saying that they approved the bid because of the team's branding being Cadillac and not Andretti. Which is a really weird statement IMO - do they actually have brand research numbers saying that Cadillac as a brand "brings more value"? Or are they really petty about not wanting the Andretti name in F1? Imo it's even possible that one of the Andrettis did something that isn't public and FOM is afraid that if it comes out it might taint the brand image of F1 if there is an Andretti team.
The volume of missent mail has certainly gone down in recent years due to both communication moving online and international post adopting more precise adress systems, but 10-15 years ago you could get parcels with multiple "missent to Austria - missent to Australia" stamps on them due to some incompetent people not realizing where it should actually go.
The DOJ as part of the discovery phase of its investigation is also believed to have a copy of a WhatsApp group chat among team principals that could have damning statements against the Andretti bid.
Lol @ that bit
Horner and Marko are not the shareholders. They likely have a big influence on this decision - but in the end it is like with Gene Haas: the owners make the decision.
Pretty petty for people to downvote this post becsuse they mis-read something
(Not saying you down voted it, but some people clearly did)
>In ‘Marvel Studios’ Assembled: The Making of Agatha All Along, ‘Aubrey Plaza talked about playing Death, explaining that she enjoyed the character’s complexity and contradictions.
>She appreciated being able to play three different versions of the same character, which she felt could work well in the MCU due to her otherworldly and yet grounded nature.

So.. Red Bull actually never produced a low-downforce rear wing? Becuase they thought they could cut into their usual rear wing to adapt it to tracks like these?
"The cost cap era of F1 mandates tough financial calls and as Verstappen pointed out in Italy, the team ultimately spent the money elsewhere."
Huh? There are a looot of communities. Of course, a good number of them are dead. To get a good idea of which smaller communities are active, I'd recommend following the !trendingcommunities@feddit.nl posts. @Blaze@feddit.org did "active communities" overview threads a while ago at !newcommunities@lemmy.world too.
Yeah that is already visible in Korra's season 1 preferences of water and fire. The interssting thong for me is how much the elements change around during her seasons.

Jonathan Majors Sued By Ex-Girlfriend For Defamation After Domestic Violence Trial
This was a separate federal lawsuit that she originally filed after Majors had already been convicted of two misdemeanor counts of reckless assault and harassment.
The interesting thing is how much Korra uses airbending in S2 after having mastered it. And how in the last two seasons, her native element is the one she uses the least.
Checo says:
“First of all, I don't agree with any of his comments,” Perez told Sky Sports News. “I think he did a mistake in that regard.
“I don't share any of his views but at the same time I don't control what my father has to say, I can only control what I say.
“It's important as a sport to always show that whatever happens on track it always remains on track. That's the way I see it and we should always be an example for the rest of the world.”
When Checo himself has a stronger rebuff to his father's words than Ralf Schumacher, that kinda says something. Tbh I wouldn't be surprised if Ralf's views overall were more similar to Perez Sr's than Checo's are.

Red Bull is interested in Colapinto – but for which team, Horner and Marko disagree on
>While Colapinto is attracting interest from Red Bull, the question remains as to where he would be placed should he end up joining the energy drinks company's roster.
>According to rumours picked up over the Interlagos weekend, Red Bull advisor Helmut Marko sees Liam Lawson, who has made a strong return to F1 since the United States GP, as Verstappen's team-mate in 2025.
>In this scenario, an RB seat would be available for Colapinto alongside Yuki Tsunoda.
>However, speculation suggests Horner's plan would be different, as he would prefer to promote Colapinto directly to Red Bull alongside Verstappen, in which case Lawson would be heading for his first full season in F1 at RB.
>Horner would be interested in this scenario in order to maximise the financial potential of Colapinto, whose popularity has exploded in Argentina and throughout Central and South America.
>The move would not be without risk, however, given Colapinto's limited experience.
>Horner's vision also would not support the work of the Red Bull Junior Team, a programme that was once flourishing but has stalled in recent years.
>For Marko, the possibility of promoting Lawson represents a return to the process that ensured the team was able to draw successfully from its own pool of young drivers.
>Placing Colapinto alongside Verstappen after four seasons in which the role was held by Perez would be a blow to the junior programme, and Red Bull would find itself in the situation of locking its youngsters into RB for the fifth consecutive season.

…There was no Dutch media in the post race press conference either… By my count there was one French journalist. Four Brazilian journalists, Tom Clarkson (host) , the tv camera operator……..and me 😂

‘Agatha All Along’ Was Originally Going To Include Hulkling As Billy's Boyfriend But Marvel Said No
Here’s showrunner Jac Schaeffer talking to EW about it:
>"There were early conversations [about Hulkling]," Schaeffer said. "[Eddie] was originally called Teddy because we were looking at the artwork and thinking about that. That was a Marvel decision to not have him be Hulkling for the purposes of our show. Within our show, he is not Hulkling…but we pivoted to Eddie because he is named after a person that is important to the writers' room. It wasn't sort of teasing the fans, it was one of those lovely tributes to somebody who matters to us."
Agatha All Along Boss Wanted to Include She-Hulk’s Madisynn — Here’s Why It Didn’t Work Out
The Witches' Road nearly led us to a Madisynn King encore — 'Agatha All Along' boss Jac Schaeffer explains why it didn't happen.
>“I really wanted to include the character of Madisynn because I think she’s so deeply funny, and she talked about Jake the goat,” Schaeffer recalls. “We were all banging our heads against the wall trying to figure out, ‘How do we make the goat our literal and figurative gateway to getting Madisynn on the road?’ and it just didn’t work. It was shoe-horning. And I had to let that go.”
According to Sky Germany, the reason why Q2 wasn't red flagged immediately is because Stroll tried to drive the car to the pits for 30-40 seconds
via /u/Dexelele on the bad site
> In the replay you can see him restarting the car over and over again and trying to get back on the track. The car even moves back and forth the whole time while he tries to reverse and turn around. > > When asked about it in the interview with Sky Germany, Stroll said that he didn't know the car was as damaged as it was and was trying to continue. > > Apparently, that's why the red flag took so long. > > Sky Germany showed the full replay of him trying over and over again, did anyone manage to grab the replay of that?
