Day 134 of posting a Daily Screenshot from the games I’ve been playing until I forget to post Screenshots
I'm close to finishing Silent Hill 2 today. The game nearly gave me a heart attack though. Not because of the game itself, but because i guess at some point my storage filled up and it wasn't writing save files correctly, so whenever James would load in he'd just spawn in a black Abyss.
Luckily some guy online had a save file right where i left off in the Labyrinth. So thankfully i didn't miss much, idk what ending i'll get though so that will be something to look forward too.
Going through the Otherworld town kept making me want to play Alan Wake II again (I might have a slight addiction). The rain and the city streets reminded me of Alan's Chapter, and then the Phone booth reminded me of how that was used in the story too:
Overall i'm really enjoying my time with this game. I'm hoping to 100% it so i can put it on my display case on my Steam profile right next to Fallout New Vegas and Alan Wake I.
1 playthrough for every re-release, just as Todd intended
There was a site called Can I Run It? i used way back when i was younger that was what you're describing
Terraria seems so relaxed. They just kind of seem to be coexisting with everyone which i love.
Day 133 of posting a Daily Screenshot from the games I’ve been playing until I forget to post Screenshots
Today's game is Silent Hill 2. I made my way through the Hospital (I had to call it a bit short though due to being in handheld mode on my Steam Deck and the battery going fast). I wanted to try something a bit different today with the screenshot, so i observed Mary's letter and zoomed in, seeing if i could get a item shot with the angle. I think it came out decent, the lack of control really though makes it feel kind of cheap. still, i think it's pretty and really showcase's how gorgeous this game is.
I also got the shotgun, which made dealing with enemies a whole lot easier. Now instead of loading 4 pistol rounds into an enemies leg, i pop them in the knee with the shotgun and thwack them with Jame's trusty metal pipe. It has definitely made my life a lot easier, though i try to save rounds for the bosses, so lying figures and mannequins i try to melee when i can.
I also got this screenshot of the main wing of the hospital, which i thought showcased the game's pretty atmosphere. Besides just giving me Batman Arkham Asylum vibes, the lighting is so well done that i feel like there's always going to be something hiding right in a corner, like that dark hallway in the screenshot. I few times i jumped because i thought i heard a Nurse, only for it to turn out to be a random background noise.
I'm wanting to do the New Game+ for this too. Seeing as how i have to get both the speedrunning achievement for Uncharted 4 and the speedrunning achievement for this game, i think I'll probably do a brief intermission of popping on over to Uncharted 4, beating that in under 6 hours, and then trying to beat Silent Hill 2 in under 10 hours (assuming i don't get it automatically in my first run, i am already at 7 so idk)
I’ve already noticed that I’m pretty sure the Echoes are meant to be spots from the OG and I’ve already spoiled the secret with the photos too. I’m really excited to see more. The team really put a ton of care into it
Day 132 of posting a Daily Screenshot from the games I’ve been playing until I forget to post Screenshots
I beat the first section of Silent Hill 2 today. I got to the next one too, but put it on hold for tomorrow, mainly because it was late. This whole section had me on edge just due to the ambience. And the sounds that play kept making me think Pyramid Head was right around the corner and i was going to have to run from him. I'm also in love with the rust everywhere, it makes it even scarier and gives it an industrial feel. I think that industrial feel is part of what makes it unsettling, because my brain is going "this is a domestic environment, but why does it look like a factory?".
It's such as shame this game doesn't have a Photo Mode because there's so many good shots obstructed by James taking up like 30% of the screen. Especially landscape shots, they would be amazing if i could get a proper lens control on it.
Here's a bonus screenshot i took of James up on the stage. I love the attention to detail with this because they could just as well had Maria not say anything:
Further on the attention to detail, in the Motel Maria can hold up her outfit from the original game and ask James if he thinks it suits her. it's a nod i thought was cool.
I had to lower the graphics today because performance started dropping later in the game for some reason. I was fully expecting it to be noticeable with the drop in quality but honestly it still looks really pretty on the lowest settings
Day 131 of posting a Daily Screenshot from the games I’ve been playing until I forget to post Screenshots
I continued Silent Hill 2 today. The game is Terrifying. I ran into the Mannequins for the first time and i don't know what it is but they unsettle me the most, and it doesn't help i suck at fighting them.
On top of that there's a section where the Pyramid Head Thing is watching you through some bars. He left at some point and when i came back it had me on edge for the next hour. This game manages to play all it's cards perfectly, i love it.
This game manages to look really pretty too. i feel like so much care and attention was put into every part of it, like the paint peeling on the walls looks so well done. The only thing that's taken me out of it is Jame's hair being kind of Bright, but 1) I think that's a graphics issue with my Steam Deck and 2) Switching from FSR 1.0 and TSR fixed it for the most part.
I think this game is going to be very light on Screenshots for posts too. Mostly because i want to avoid Spoilers for others with the game's "newer" state and also because the game lacks a dedicated photo mode so most shots just come out as "over James' shoulder" shots.
I played the OG when i was 13 on my shitty Acer laptop. It was an experience. I was doing the same thing while going through the remake when seeing the redesigned areas. Like I’d see a space and go “oh. This is where James first encounters an enemy”.
I’m a part time student. Maybe with next semester that will change because I’m looking into going full time. But I always try to put at least 30 minutes to an hour into gaming just to relax after long days.
I think being part time has just afforded me a lot more of that time though, which is why I’m knocking so many games out like this.
Day 130 of posting a Daily Screenshot from the games I’ve been playing until I forget to post Screenshots
Today's game is Silent Hill 2 Remake. I've been wanting to play this for a long time ever since i heard it was getting a remake. I was a bit worried about how it would perform on my Steam Deck, but everything seems to be going well. I haven't checked any average FPS but i have it capped at 30 and i am using FSR on balanced at 1600x900. There's some minor but noticeable stuttering, but at least up until the town it runs well. I want to spend this post more talking about the game itself, so i'm going to keep the screenshots light for this one.
The whole game looks pretty and is both fun and terrifying. Recent years must be a golden age for Horror Games or something because first Alan Wake II and then this (and from what i hear the RE4 remake is up there too). It's also funny to me that all these 2 game franchises involve a plot of a run of the mill Middle Aged Guy looking for their Wife (or at least Alan Wake I Alan).
I also i find this game amazing because, as someone who grew up in a Small American Town like this, they perfectly captured the feel of one. The way the streets are, the way the Street Lights are, the creepy alleys between houses. It all eerily reminds me of home. Silent Hill is a bit upper class then where i grew up, but it still strikes those chords uncomfortably well.
Specifically this shot:
And this shot:
Show what i mean.
On top of the town itself, the game manages to scare me really well. The fog leaves me on the edge of my seat, and the lying figures that crawl around terrify me. Something about them just really bothers me.
Other than starting Silent Hill 2, i also finished my crushing difficulty run of Uncharted 4. It was Brutal. The final boss could basically one shot me most of the time, which made it a challenge of perfectly parrying his attacks. It was a fun challenge to be sure. I wanted to share a few more screenshots from that. I'm not fully done (I need to get a journal entry and 6 more treasures, along with the speedrunning achievement), and plus i'm considering playing The Lost Legacy after SH2. so this may not be the last screenshot from it.
I don't want to draw the post out too long though so i'm just going to leave a few screenshots from that here:
Yeah. I played my first playthrough a few years ago. I just finished my crushing run today actually.
One thing I will say after beating it is that I feel like the difficulty of Crushing really drew out combat encounters (at least for me), so it kind of counter balanced the lack of combat encounters
Day 129 of posting a Daily Screenshot from the games I’ve been playing until I forget to post Screenshots
I continued Uncharted 4 today. I'm close to finishing it, I'm at 18/22 chapters. This picture is from the Chapter 16 flashback. I also have this weird bug going after i made a separate save for a encounter based achievement. Now all the my aiming has Lock On Aim on Crushing Difficulty. It's annoying a bit because i went through all the first 17 chapters without it, and now it's on.
I took this screenshot at the end of chapter 15. I saw someone post a similar screenshot in the Steam Community tab and i wanted to try recreating it myself. There's looked a lot better, but i like how this one turned out.
There was also this one in a river. I wanted to share this just so i can have an excuse to reiterate how pretty i think this game's water is. Even after being butchered by FSR it still manages to look pretty, it's really good.
Finally i wanted to share this picture of an "ancient Mesopotamian washer/dryer combo"
In more news, me and my friend finally beat the gravemind level in Halo 2 Legendary Difficulty. It took forever and we had a ton of bugs that kept stopping us, but we did it. I don't really have any screenshots from it, but i wanted to share because jesus that level was ungodly hard and i'm proud i finally finished it.
Day 128 of posting a Daily Screenshot from the games I’ve been playing until I forget to post Screenshots
Today's game is Uncharted 4. I finally beat Chapter 14. It's really tedious on crushing difficulty because it's combat section after combat section. I missed some treasures, but at this point i'll grab them when i go back through later on easy for the speedrun achievement.
Today's Main screenshot is from the courtyard at the end of the section. This area is really pretty to explore with all the foliage and remains of a battle. And there's some really cool world building pieces i noticed too like the skull on the ground.
There was also this screenshot i took of a doorway. I really like the way the lighting plays with the door here, especially the contrast between the dark door and the brighter area behind it.
There was also this mural on the roof somewhere. I'm no art expert, so i don't know if it's a IRL piece, but i thought it was really pretty on the ceiling despite not being able to see much detail. I'm a sucker for murals and paintings in that style so it's cool to see it in the game.
Halo CE and ODST the other day was more so to break in the game to check if the game was functioning. I was having a bug with it and needed to fix it.
We first beat CE Legendary a few years ago and ODST we did to take a break because we assumed it would be quicker than jumping straight into Halo 2 Legendary. We’ve sadly been stuck on Halo 2 legendary for half a year. It’s me and my Friend’s Co-Op project
Day 127 of posting a Daily Screenshot from the games I’ve been playing until I forget to post Screenshots
Today's game is Uncharted 4. This was a landscape shot i took, the photo mode doesn't remove sniper lasers though, but that's okay because I'm sure Sniper Lasers are a naturally occurring part of jungles anyways. Today's screenshots are a bit sparse because this season is going to be a bit busy for me.
On top of uncharted, I wanted to get a screenshot from me and my friends Halo 2 Legendary, but me and my friend have been having an issue with the gravemind level. It keeps crashing at a door way. Once we finally got past that we got a network disconnect error and called it quits for today. I did get a screenshot of this trippy globe thing on a Halo 3 map while playing a game with my brother and my friend.
I also took a screenshot of the landscape of the Island in Uncharted 4. The way it generates reminds me of old Minecraft and how you could get villages generating with wacky terrain elevations
Tomorrow I'm hoping to get the Halo 2 level out of the way, but we'll have to see. I have a busy week and I'd also like to get Uncharted out of the way for something I'm excited to get to next.
Day 126 of posting a Daily Screenshot from the games I’ve been playing until I forget to post Screenshots
Today’s game is Uncharted 4 (and a bonus screenshot of Halo Multiplayer I accidentally took today and wanted to share). This screenshot was taken in a pretty village like area. The whole area is really gorgeous and has really good lighting imo. Another place this can be seen is in a prison area you can wander into.
This area also just has a lot of fun interactions with characters. There’s a section where one of the NPCs puts their head in a pillory. Immediately I went “oh, that’d make a fun screenshot”, and right after I took it the character mentions wishing they had their camera.
Im excitedly close to finishing the game on Crushing mode. I’m hoping to clean up all the achievements in one swift day to 100% Uncharted 4 (I plan to save Lost Legacies for a later date). I have a few exciting new games I want to pick up after that, I have to see how well they fit into my schedule though.
As promised here’s the Bonus Halo Screenshot. I got it while playing with my Best Friend and my Brother. I got my ass handed at my specialty of Snipers only, but if anyone asks i blame the controller:
I’m very happy for making it this far. Besides just the fact I enjoy sharing my screenshots with other people and reading the discussions people have around the games I play, I feel like it’s helped establish a pattern I’ve been using in my day to day life to stay dedicated to other tasks
Day 125 of posting a Daily Screenshot from the games I’ve been playing until I forget to post Screenshots
Today's game is Halo MCC. Me and my Friend finally got around to picking up our Halo 2 Legendary playthrough again (It's hell on earth). We also played a few rounds with my brother on Multiplayer (I also made some progress on Uncharted by myself today). This screenshot came from a map i was on while playing. The map gave me Xen vibes from Half Life with the sky and the funky birds.
There was also this screenshot i took of a river in the Gravemind. I really like this water. 8/10, i'd like to drink it in real life, it looks nice and cool. Maybe swim in it too.
I also got this cool clip of me ramping off a hunter during the level.
Then finally this is a screenshot of Jeffery, a Soldier we named back at the Beginning of our Halo 2 Legendary campaign almost a full half a year earlier. He rode on our tank and took out a Ghost, so he's earned an eternal spot in our Lore Book next to Jerry and Cable.
I also got another clip today. This one i got while playing CE multiplayer with brother and my friend. My friend blew him up with a Tank right as i turned too look at him
I wouldn't mind a ODST remake. I really enjoyed the first one
Something about the stones bothers me, idk what though
I'm ashamed to say it took me until a few months ago to get to it. I finally got around too it though after my full yearly play through of Alan Wake 1 earlier this year
let's make a whole new strain for it too. we can call it the Spanish Flu or something
Day 124 of posting a Daily Screenshot from the games I’ve been playing until I forget to post Screenshots
Today's game is Halo CE. I needed to debug an issue i was having with a SymLink on my SSD with the game's Proton data. After that i made sure to double check everything was working fine. I ended up playing through the first two levels. The main screenshot is from the Start of the second level where you have to evade covenant troops. There was this really pretty waterfall i took a picture of. Water just kind of seemed to be the focus of the screenshots for today though (i'm sure !hydrohomies@lemmy.ml will love this though). I had a few extra clips i wanted to share too but i think the file for those got corrupted right after the game crashed.
Overall CE has some pretty water, like this river here. The way it looks reminds me of Ocarina of Time and the river right out front of Hyrule Castle.
Here's the river in the Anniversary version. I think i like the classic one more, but that's more so personal preference (and probably my love for OOT). It still looks very pretty though and i love it.
Finally there was this bulletin board i wanted to share from the Anniversary Graphics (This way no one can say i only shared water pictures in this post). It looks way different there and you can tell the Dev team had a lot of fun with it. I like the cat found poster the most though, it's a very cute cat.
Alan Wake 1. It's one of the few games i can play over and over again and not get bored. Sometimes i'll just pop in and play a chapter when i want something to do. I keep it and it's sister game, Alan Wake's American Nightmare on system at all times just so i can play it
That's what i was thinking when i took them. Its impressive, especially considering this is all running on my Steam Deck
Day 123 of posting a Daily Screenshot from the games I’ve been playing until I forget to post Screenshots
Today’s game is Uncharted 4. I wanted to play some Halo CE (for whatever reason I’ve been craving that lately), but Halo MCC has decided to just stop launching from my external SSD. I ended up biting the bullet and installing it onto my internal SSD on my Steam Deck instead. This whole fiasco with my SD Card dying and me being limited back to 512 GB has me considering buying a new internal SSD for it (though, I do have plans for a expensive Ray Tracing Gaming Desktop I want to build after playing Alan Wake II, so maybe some day)
I ended up calling Uncharted 4 off early today as I got stumped at an encounter and was starting to get frustrated. It was at that point I decided to let it go for a bit before I stopped having fun. I plan to pick it back up tomorrow. I did get some gorgeous pictures though, I tried cropping them all at 5:4 to see if that helped sell the realism like I felt it did with Alan Wake II, I don’t think it did though (I suspect Alan Wake II had some more going on than just a simple crop though)
This picture, and the main one I picked reminds me of Red Dead Redemption 2. In the northern part of the map up in the mountains there’s a Waterfall with a cave you can pass through behind it. This section of Uncharted and RDR2 have similar lighting I feel like which reminded me of it
! Then there’s this dangling skeleton which reminded me of Ocarina of Time and the Forest Temple. Specifically that section with the courtyard. This one I can’t really narrow it down why it reminded me of that. Maybe it’s all the foliage?
! ! Finally theres these two Cave images, which I thought were pretty. Today just has me very nostalgic ig, because these two remind me of something to. It’s a lot less specific what though. I’m thinking maybe Red Dead 2 again with the cave with the guy who claims he’s satan (and you can use to glitch out of bounds)?
I took a class that covered it a while ago. From what i understood of that unit, it can be pretty difficult. Even after shaders for the water and things to handle vertex displacement maps and tessellation, if they want the Water to do more then they have to code that on too (Think Red Dead 2's Water reacting to being shot or just basic Splash Physics or foam). It was really fascinating to learn about even though i don't remember much of the Unit
Naughty Dog has a pretty good track record with pretty and polished games. The only bad one that springs to mind is the PC port of the Last of Us Part 1, and even then i believe Iron galaxy handled that port (which is surprising it came out buggy because they also handled Uncharted 4's PC port and afaik it came out fine), and from what i know now it's been fixed too
Day 122 of posting a Daily Screenshot from the games I’ve been playing until I forget to post Screenshots
I Continued Uncharted 4 today. I played Chapter 12, which had me driving a boat. The whole section is really pretty, the only part i hated was when i was driving around trying find 3 damn dolphins for an achievement. I found 2, but could never find the last. I have come to the conclusion i hate dolphins.
Despite Dolphins ruining the mood, i got some other lovely screenshots, such as this one: ! The angle makes it hard too see, but the water in the floor gives me Observatory Vibes from Mario Galaxy.
! There was also this screenshot, which i feel like the lighting helped to sell the realism. I also turned off FSR and started running it at a native 720p which makes it look far better in my opinion.
Finally, out of the bulk of screenshots i picked i wanted to share this one too. I really like the cave and the water in it is gorgeous. This game has some absolutely beautiful water. I have to put it up there with Ocarina of Time and Mario Galaxy as some of my favorite water in video games.
Scotland is one of my favorite sections of the game with how pretty it is. Plus the ruins the game has you climb around in
I liked 4 a lot. It felt like an appropriate end to Drake's story, especially with the more grounded story with supernatural elements out and the new mechanics added. I loved The epilogue on my first play through too. I had to stop and go "woah, is this really a video game?" with the lighting
Day 121 of posting a Daily Screenshot from the games I’ve been playing until I forget to post Screenshots
Today's game is Uncharted 4 again. I got back too it with Chapter 11. This whole chapter is really pretty with it architecture and lighting. Another example of what i mean is the lobby of the clock tower you go to: !
This whole section gives me Myst vibes too. I think it's the way the lighting is done, but whatever it is makes, it makes me nostalgic because i had Myst on my old iPhone 1 way back in the day when i was younger.
There was also this screenshot which gave me heavy Assassin's Creed Syndicate Vibes. I think it's because it's a clock tower: !
I also tried my hand at an action shot again. The FSR was making the water really fucking sparkly, i don't think it translated to the screenshot, but if you see some sparkles that's what it is: !
Finally i wanted to share this shot i took while climbing the tower. I really like how it came out with the contrast between the pillars and city: !
Day 120 of posting a Daily Screenshot from the games I’ve been playing until I forget to post Screenshots
Me and a friend were going to play some Halo 2 today, but i forgot about my fucked about SD card, so i had to download the entire game again. ODST finished first, and i decided to just mess around in it since i've already beaten it and i was short on time today and wanted to play something. This was a lovely mugshot i took of a enemy that got stuck.
My screenshots were acting funky today and the timestamps were all off and then for some reason some screenshots didnt save. I only walked away with two really worth sharing, because of that. I think most of my screenshots i picked today were new ones, but i took so many i can't be sure, i know for a fact the Main one i picked is new though.
! this was a picture of a picture of a antelope i took on the Zoo level. idk why but something about it in a Halo game stood out to me. I also have suspicions that this may not be a new screenshot, but was missed in. But i really like this one so i left it in.
I really like ODST's vibe. Master Chief is fun, (and i'm not fully in on the Halo lore so i may be wrong about this) but playing as the rookie and not Master Chief in the Spartan suit feels fun and more commando. I'm a sucker for everyday characters.
Day 119 of posting a Daily Screenshot from the games I’ve been playing until I forget to post Screenshots
Today's game is Sea of Thieves. Me and a friend did the final Monkey Island story line after nearly a year of putting it off. This screenshot i took at the start of our voyage.
This was a screenshot i took at the end of the Voyage. I thought the sunset was pretty.
I took this screenshot before rescuing the Charmingly Handsome Captain Coco. We got him a Monocle and he helped us blow stuff up
This one was taken in a cave in the story. I got curious whether the Lava would actually kill me, so for science i threw myself onto it. Then my friend started talking shit about me, so i took the Compass-Severed-Head-Thing and proved him wrong (this was after he got called out for talking shit about my Rowing skills and then proceeded to crash the boat and i had to fix it)
This last one was a pretty waterfall i got a screenshot of while trying to hunt down Banana Oil to lather up a Pike with a Skull on it to help captain Coco help us.
Day 118 of posting a Daily Screenshot from the games I’ve been playing until I forget to post Screenshots
Today i Continue Uncharted 4. I Believe i am halfway done (having just got to chapter 11). Pixelfed has been making it easier to share more screenshots, so i have a few more for everybody!
Today's main screenshot i took at the foot of the tower at the end. I'm a bit disappointed i didn't get to climb it, but oh well.
This here is a Waterfall i took a screenshot of right before driving through it. Something about Waterfalls with caves behind it i love in games (Vent/Crawling sections too which this game has had a few of)
This here was the cave behind the Waterfall. I like how dark and damp it is back there. On my way out i enjoyed ramping out i did it a whole second time
I found a Lemur to go with my Rat from yesterday. I remember from my first play through in the next chapter there's a lemur you get to play with too. (I think there's an achievement for it as well)
I got the car stuck here. I wanted to go back and clip it because Sam was telling a joke right before i got unstuck and we fell into the ravine, but my Steam UI locked up for some reason and by the time i was able to get it back my recording was already overwritten
This was i just thought was funny because it's Nate on a Crate
Here's a pretty Landscape shot i took of the end of the Chapter. I angled it up again like with the statues from last time to give it a bit more of a foreboding vibe.
Finally here's the city at the start of the next chapter. this is probably one of the chapters i remember most from last time (along with the last chapter, and the Scotland Chapter)
Day 117 of posting a Daily Screenshot from the games I’ve been playing until I forget to post Screenshots
Today i continued more of Uncharted. I have gotten into taking Clips of my Playthroughs i wanted to share, and so i started reusing my Pixelfed account. Just so everything is the same I will be hosting the images over there and then cross posting them over here (on the main instance). If you want to follow that to my account name is the same as here (Not to advertise or anything, just letting people know there are now options)
While i was running past this cliff face i swear i saw a Whale leap out of the water. I waited a good 5 minutes and it didn't come back out. I swear i'm not crazy, there was a whale in the sea.
I also got this really cool photo of a Statue of Saint Dismas. Crop it right and i think it could make for a really Sick album cover.
Then there's this really cool bridge i had to cross. I'm trying to get all the Treasures, but i missed one and had to reload a checkpoint as the bridge would not let me go backwards.
This image was also really sick. I tilted the angle up a little to get a neat perspective. I feel like it really makes these creepy ass statues more foreboding.
This picture i don't have much of a story behind it, i just like how the rats look in this game.
Then finally i got a cool Action shot of Nate climbing a pillar. I feel like the tilt on it really added to it.
Day 116 of posting a Daily Screenshot from the games I’ve been playing until I forget to post Screenshots
Today i played some more Uncharted, though, i really didn't get far (today was a busy day for me and i was exhausted)
I took a landscape shot of the monastery in this chapter. Looking at it from this angle i feel like you can really see how it's a video game level. All the parts fit together in a way that is perfectly crafted to be climbable and cater to Uncharted's whole "cover fire" game play, while still offering some level of immersion. It's something i love about video games. Some of them do an amazing job of hiding their video game "elements" while still utilizing it to their fullest.
I attempted the Ghost in the cemetery achievement again a few times. My current route has me following the ledge face, climbing the broken arch to stay hidden, and then dropping down to the other cliff face. Then a enemy will walk past to check out the ledge and I'll stay hidden. once he turns around I'll sneak behind him. That's where i currently get stuck, because I'm not sure how to sneak past all the enemies watching the gate (The location i need to open to get the achievement) without getting killed or my NPC companion stealth killing them. As much as I'd like to do this in crushing difficulty, i think I'll just have to save it for later and come back and do it on easy because it is brutal.
Day 115 of posting a Daily Screenshot from the games I’ve been playing until I forget to post Screenshots
Today's game is Uncharted 4: A Thief's End. I continued my crushing playthrough today. I feel like it suddenly ramped up in difficulty. I ended up stopping while trying to get the Ghost in the Cemetery achievement, which is sneaking through an entire section without being seen or killing. I've come to the conclusion that Sam (The player characters companion for this chapter) sucks, because every single run i've done he's gotten me caught or killed someone by sneak attacking them.
This screenshot was taken in the tombs of a section in Scotland. I really liked the lighting and fog of this scene, and the whole catacombs section is really pretty. It reminds me of The Last Crusade in it's catacombs.
The whole section is gorgeous too though, i'm hoping to nab a screenshot of the Highlands tomorrow to share with everyone because i think they're pretty. The team did a really good job of making the whole game look amazing.
Here's a bonus screenshot i took of the section right after, this one was a close contender for it because i thought it was gorgeous too, but the fog in the one i picked got to me first:
