The dense layers surrounding these astronomical bodies are the only thing keeping the Eldritch Monstrosities locked away in the core of these "Gas Giants". They were sealed away eons ago, to save the Galaxy from destruction. Do not meddle with these barriers, do not explore the unknown, for you shall awaken the destruction of our universe.
I'm tempted to get this to use with their BT Genesis controller I have, but I was having connection problems with their GameCube BT adapter losing connection intermittently so I'm not so sure about this one.
It's so woke that it got an overflow error and reverted to a negative value.

Falco: "I can't shake this guy!"
I already have a handful of devices I could emulate on, but it's not the same as playing on original hardware through a CRT TV.
Oh, I forgot that I have a Comix Zone cart on the way! I was thinking of getting an EverDrive for each system I have, but even though it's cheaper than collecting it's still expensive.
Sold my Genesis as a kid for Smash Bros. Now I have one again to replay my childhood games.
As a kid, I got my Dad to take me to Funcoland to trade in my Sega Genesis to buy Super Smash Bros for the N64. I kinda regret getting rid of it, but I played the heck out of Smash, and my Dad probably would have pawned it when I got older anyway, but I still missed my old Genesis. So I started looking to replace it.
I found a decently priced Genesis on eBay that came with a bundle of sports games I might never play, as well as a CIB copy of Sonic 2 at my local game shop. I ordered Road Rash 2 on eBay when I saw it was less than the market price. There's still a few more games to collect to rebuild my childhood library (even though some were just memorable rentals). I still need:
- Sonic collection
- True Lies
- Road Rash 1 and 3
- Mighty Morphin Power Rangers
- Rocket Knight
- Rock 'N Roll Racing
What other not-too-expensive games should I get?
Bonus pictures of a couple games on my old CRT for the best OG experience:
I will not need this advice, and continue to do whatever I want. Thank you, though.

Possibly playing as a bonus to being subscribed, or a higher/different subscription tier to include or only play mobile.
Just use pasta/rice water to water your plants. They will enjoy the extra nutrients.
Edit: maybe not, I'm not a scientist.
Imagine a rural Italian village filled with American Trailer-Trash, yelling at each other and starting fights with each new day.

Trump will require cooperation of local police.
Plenty of pigs are already on his side, and would help him with this willingly.
Also, as president, SCOTUS has already ruled that he can pretty much do what he wants as long as it's an "official" act.
Some scholars contend that the unprecedented number of deportations between 1929 and 1933 were part of a policy by the administration of Herbert Hoover who had scapegoated Mexicans for the Great Depression and instituted stricter immigration policies with the stated intent of freeing up jobs for Americans.
They tuuk 'er jubs!
However, voluntary repatriation was far more common than formal deportation and federal officials were minimally involved.[5] Some of the repatriates hoped that they could escape the economic crisis of the Great Depression.[9] The government formally deported at least 82,000 people,[10] with the vast majority occurring between 1930 and 1933.[5][11] The Mexican government also encouraged repatriation with the promise of free land.[8][12]: 185–186
This makes it seem like many of them wanted out of the US already, and Mexico was more than willing to receive them.
Edit: The page also says that people were blaming Mexicans and making them the scapegoat for the reason why they were dealing with the great recession. It seems that many were already wanting to move to Mexico due to the recession coupled with the promise of free land. There were still a lot who were deported forcefully against their will.
Are your shoes outside on a balcony? Don't they get wet? If it fogs where you are, I assume condensation would form on the ground outside most nights.
For instrumental music with no vocals, try: Wide Eyes, Invent Animate (their instrumental versions), Modern Day Babylon, I Built the Sky. These aren't quite Death Metal, but they have really complex guitar and drum pieces.
For with vocals: Sea in the Sky, Ignea, Unleash The Archers, Corelia (also has instrumental version of their 1 album)
"... a candidate for peace who would act swiftly to end the wars in the Middle East and beyond..."
They never bothered to tell them -how- he would be ending those wars. I guess sometimes the peaceful solution is a bloody one. Peaceful as in there's nobody left to fight back.
Most people are selling old TVs for $100-$200+, but I found this one for $25.
Most people are over-charging for old, worn-out TVs on places like Craigslist and Ebay, now that people are realizing how much better they are for retro gaming. I saw this one for $25 and had to check it out.
I had to clean up the corrosion in the remote to be able to change to the AV input, but it works well enough. Threw it on the kitchen counter to test it out.
Happy Solstice to those on Lemmy! What traditions do you hold on this night?
Happy Winter Solstice! What traditions do you practice or have started this year? I always keep a candle lit through the darkest night and share mead with the Gods and Ancestors.
