You're correct the housing issue precedes Trudeau or most other politicians. But that being said Trudeau went into an agreement with the provinces stipulating that they must build more housing to handle the influx of people Canada needed and even said that the Federal government would help subsidize costs. Premiers like Ford ignored this and came nowhere near the targeted goal and are now blaming Trudeau for a problem they neglected to address and knew was coming.
Holy backpedaling. Looks like someone had a stern talking to.
Are any of these open source or trustworthy?
Surprised Christopher Nolan is not higher.
“If you look at the original, early 1920s documents of the plans, the party programs and so on that the Nazis are putting forward, they do have lots of things that are anti-big business, pro-worker,” she said.
As the party gained power, it gave government the power to control certain industries, while in other areas — like weapons manufacturing — it supported large, private companies.
Tworek said that what the party said and did was often contradictory.
I'm sensing a pattern here.
Non-conservative states that don't treat migrants like garbage is what he means.
Wife found a good job that she's happy in and got a new car for her commuting. I'm very happy for her.
It’s fitting that the Wizard of Oz is back on the big screen in the new “Wicked” movie, because Premier Doug Ford is reminding me a lot of the old Wiz these days.
Lol that was a fantastic opening to the article.
Also, he, and all other Conservatives, are doing a good job of pinning his failures on Trudeau. It's mind boggling how many people genuinely believe that the housing crisis is all because of Trudeau and not because of the incompetence of their local politicians.
You never cared about them. Don't talk to me about evil. You're pathetic.
And yet zero discussions on how to improve the quality of life of those 50,000 babies. How to make sure they are healthy and grow up to be functioning adults.
You don't care about the babies. You care about control. You're disgusting.
Completely ignoring the infant mortality rates going up have you? What's the matter? Doesn't fit your narrative?
It's only relevant as long as the people in power consider it relevant. If they decide they don't care about it, then out it goes.
I mean.....is anyone surprised?
Oh look another disgusting take on reducing women to bargaining chips while also neglecting to acknowledge that infant mortality is on the rise.
Shame on you OP.
“The thing that’s really the most troubling to me [are] these students in universities in our country, whether they’re here as Americans or if they’re here on student visas, and they’re out there saying ‘I support Hamas.’” she told Newsmax.
This is the level of bullshit these protestors are dealing with. Saying "I'm not ok with genocide" is equated to supporting Hamas or being anti-semitic.
The DNC leadership don't want this. It's clear there needs to be some kind of shake up. They were given the most despicable and hated presidential candidate wrapped in the most unpopular agenda (Project 2025) and they lost all 7 swing states, the house, and the senate. I'm honestly still in shock on how badly they screwed this up.
Pedophiles will always exist. It's the unfortunate truth. But if we can reduce the amount if children subjected to sexual assault or rape then we should absolutely explore it. That's what this article is about. Removing the stigma for treatments that you accurately described as a barrier. How successful this approach is remains to be seen. But it's a worthy and sound discussion to have. And who knows, if it kicks off maybe we can even have people treat it before they actually hurt a child. It's a big maybe and will not happen for long time but we can try and make steps towards that goal.
There are more extreme methods such as chemical castration, sure. But that has its drawbacks as I mentioned in my comment above.
Should have happened in 2016. You don't negotiate or reason with fanatics and fascists. Even now in 2024 Democrats seem unable to learn this lesson as evidenced by the election results.
I didn't take this as a method of changing sexual preferences. But rather a way to help these people avoid acting on these "urges".
But yes, I do agree that it really depends on how effective it actually is. It nay be that this is just a case of having a few good examples but will not reflect in a broad real life scenario.
There isn't really an option with no costs to them, though, is there?
I mean isn't this article what this is about? That there is a way to help rehabilitate these offenders without having them commit these crimes again or even for the first time? The article begs the question in asking "Why aren't we exploring how successful this would be if we used it on a larger scale?". Which is a fair question to ask.
How do you deal with shin splints when running?
I noticed it's considerably worse when I run outside on the street/sidewalk as opposed to on a treadmill. I usually run first thing in the morning so I've taken a few minutes to stretch my legs thinking that may be the cause but it hasn't really helped. The only other thing I can think of is that I have flat feet.
Anyone else deal with this and have an idea on how to overcome it?
