"What do I care for your suffering? Pain, even agony, is no more than information before the senses, data fed to the computer of the mind. The lesson is simple: you have received the information, now act on it. Take control of the input and you shall become master of the output."
Sheng-Ji Yang, Alpha Centauri
Mariette Lindsteins "Pako Kultista" (or Lång väg hem Mina 25 år i sekten) that tells of her life in the scientology cult, almost finished it. Couldn't find if it had an English translation. It's chilling to listen to how the members are thoroughly abused, controlled and forced to become husks of themselves.
It's also pretty great at giving stars to home brew monsters, or making variations of regular monsters.
Apple TV most certainly collects information too...
Not really. Ads aren't gonna dissappear, with Mozillas tech, they'd at least be more private than what Google will implement.
Pdf files are a prime vector for malware. One of the most reliable ways to get a virus in a system seems to be sending a gimmicked pdf and social engineer it so it's opened.
I've always kinda wondered how recruiters computers aren't swimming in malware.
Isn't Texas the state that in High school was voted "Most likely to secede"?
Damn you Norwegians, you win. Just keep sending us fish and we good.
You're not wrong. One spy is better than 1+x spies, especially if that one spy is well controlled with regulation. Better than bad is still not necessarily good.
Use it every single day on my Zenfone. Have bunch of headphones to use with it too.
Competition goes way down when all the different companies are owned by a very small set of huge companies. And for these companies it's easy to setup cartels and just simply not compete and jack up the prices. Competition happens when the companies must make a profit or die, not when conglomerates can trust that they're the only game in town.
We've let our companies grow too large, giving them the ability to put the screws on us. Also competition isn't really happening in many fields, as ask the companies are owned by pretty much the same people.
Yeah, that's not happening. Nice far right conspiracy theory though.
I usually use Firefox, but sometimes a website won't work on it, for example so web apps like Adobe Express just refuse to work. In these cases I use Edge, not Chrome anymore. Between the two, Edge has better privacy and has some really nice features. It also works better with my work stuff thanks to integration with 365.
What I'm going with this is that there's definitely a user base for Edge. Between it and Chrome, I'd go with Edge any day. Firefox still beats both though.
Not to condone their actions, but what would Hamas care about getting supporters? Palestine situation hasn't been helped much at all by international supporters, so it's not like they care about that.
That ending, hoo boy.
Joo, kaikkien pitää ilmiselvästi pysyä vuokraloukussa koko ikänsä. Oppivathan olemaan lakkoilematta kun kodittomuus odottaa.
Even at the hype max there was already a lot of worthless NFTs, so it can easily be even less than 95%.
Finland at the final step. One of current ruling parties is a populist conservative one with openly racist views. And our right wing parties are sucking their dicks cause together they can bash some unions. A fucking disgrace.
