The continent hosted a war between gods that destroyed a continent, who knows how that affected the geography of the neighbouring lands.
The One Ring also didn't have unlimited power. Gothmog, Sauron's master, did something similar with his own spirit, except he was so powerful he used the entirety of Middle-Earth as his "ring" instead. It's why the elves can't stay on Middle-Earth without waning.
They claimed that it was expensive and was part of the reason for cyberpunk's turbulent launch.
It's a real shame though, most UE5 runs awful it seems, and are still limited by single thread performance, unlike RED Engine which scales far better with more CPU cores.
10th level spell? What sort of campaign is that?
I guess I didn't read the problem properly.
Sounds like your typical game theory problem.
Not pulling the lever: Worst case: Your loved ones dies Best case: None
Pulling the lever: Worst case: Your loved ones dies Best case: Your loved ones survives
I'll preface by saying I prefer Ghost Reveries and their later albums more than their older ones. I'm not all that into growling.
The first three songs falls flat on my first listen, §4 and §5 I found more interesting. The instrumental part of §6 were nice.
None of the songs stands out though, not sure if any of them will make into the gym playlist rotation.
A shame they didn't explore further the style they tried with In Cauda Venenum, as a Norwegian I find Swedish vocals more interesting than English, though it could just be the novelty of it.
Not really. Just stay away from the capital/Oslo.
Outdated answer at this point, but just in case others stumble upon this thread. It's not all that uncommon, you'll be fine, even though your neck might feel locked up for a day or two. Just stay active, even if your first instinct is to lie down and wait for it to pass over.
Make the path better in what way? I personally enjoyed the path and it matches nicely with Arueshalae's story arc. Creating a tree that slowly destroys the abyss is also no joke, even if you got a childish dragon companion tagging along.
It can never beat the Aeon path though.
I'm the same with 1. I'd recommend trying out Black Mesa, it might be the best game remake ever made.
Edit: I just realised the question was recognising the name of the city, not recognising city based on a picture...
Probably Svolvær/Lofoten with a population of ~4700. It doesn't have the official status of "City" in Norway though.
Better visuals and much faster/cheaper for the developer to make.
We are still in the infancy of the technology and the vast majority of games with ray tracing doesn't fully utilise it as they must compromise to support normal raster, leading to half baked implementations on engines not designed with ray tracing in mind.
Learning the language of the country you're moving to should be the bare minimum of what's expected of you. I'd suggest taking a history lesson if your goto is comparing it to Nazism, seems rather disrespectful to actual victims of the Nazi Party.
Warcraft 3 had helicopters and tanks, so cars aren't all that crazy.
In case it's a genuine a question, there isn't an opposite side to odd-sided dice. Had it been a d326 it would have been 326+1 in total, if it were a d328 it would be 328+1
Looks inspired by it, but the emperor only has 1 mechanical eye lighting up.
5 pin connector recommendations that have both male and female sockets available
I'm looking for a 5 pin connector type that I can easily find chassis plugs for both male and female.
I've looked at DIN and mini xlr connectors, but have unsurprisingly been unable to find male chassis sockets.
The pins needs to support 12V 10A*
*realistically only expects about 6-7A flowing through 1 pin and one fourth of that through the 4 others.
The goalkeeper has been taken to hospital
Phil Jones reflecting on his Manchester United career : ''Shame about my career? I won the Premier League, FA Cup, played in two World Cups, like...no mate it doesn't work like that''
With Streamff service you can share your video in two clicks, as easy as it sounds.
LiveThreadBot is now live
Update: To add or remove women's game's, you now need to add -w
to the command. E.g. -football -w Barcelona - Liverpool
or -remove -football -w Barcelona - Liverpool
This is due to edge cases where men's and women's team share name and play against the same opponent on the same day. Women's match thread will also be marked with [Women's game] in the title.
As some of you may have seen, the community now has a match thread bot to help with automating creation and updating match threads.
The bot takes a request in the format -football football@lemmy.world Barcelona - Real Madrid
and will look up to 6 days ahead for an upcoming match and add it to a queue. ~15 minutes before kick off it will make a post that it will continuously update with available score, stats and commentary.
To make a request you can either tag the bot or reply to one of the bot's comments. See the comments for an interaction example.
The bot will work in any community federated with lemmy.world so if you want to create a live thread in e.g. c/gunners you could make a request like this -football gunners@lemmy.world Arsenal - Tottenham Hotspur
Do note that the bot requires approval from a mod or admin to post in a community. So unless you're a mod/admin, you'll need to ask them to approve the bot via -mod_action whitelist gunners@lemmy.world
or become a trusted user that can bypass the block -mod_action trust username@instance.com gunners@lemmy.world
For a more detailed and technical overview of the bot's capabilities, please check the readme in the gitlab repo: https://gitlab.com/UlrikHD/lemmy-match-thread-bot
Example output of a live thread: https://lemmy.ml/post/18633476

Recommended language/framework for a first time android project?
I've been thinking about writing my own workout logger that better fits my use and I'd like to hear some recommendations on what language or framework to use.
I don't have any prior experience with mobile development nor with Java or Kotlin, and C++ I suspect would be needlessly low level for the features I'd like to include.
Features is like to include in the app is capability of recording video, playing video/audio, creating graphs and opening up in-app tabs. Fancy ui and animations is not of much importance.
Any recommendations on what languages to use and what libraries might be of interest to get going?
The app will sporadically crash and restart when commenting
Not sure what causes it, but about 7% of the times I try to comment on a post, the app will crash and restart, failing to post the comment. Unless the comment was manually saved, the comment will also be completely gone, forcing you to rewrite the whole comment.
It seems to happen mostly on longer comments when the app have spent some time in the "comment" state. It's possible that leaving the app (not closing it) and reopen the window is part of what triggers the bug.
Android version 9, the bug has been persistent through multiple versions of the app, including the latest version available at the play store.
