I know the new admin isn't gonna do great things, but the money is already spent and a lot of people have already started (or in some cases, finished) these projects.
The work that has been done over the past four years has set into motion great changes for decades to come, and empowered local areas to now build on the vision and infrastructure set out by the outgoing administration. :)
This, the only time I even hit the regulated 28mph is either because I'm on a road where the speed is 30 but cars are going much faster, or I need to get up our 18-28% grade hills with groceries, and I literally need all the power I can get while hitting about 9mph at 1,300w.
These rules for 20mph class bikes are great if you live in flat AF zones, but swiftly change with heavy payloads on steep, steep terrain. And that's not even including riding on the same roads as vehicles that can easily do 40-50mph down arterials if the police aren't around to keep them at 30. I've seen people on lime scooters doing 15mph (speed limited) on those same roads....
I thought it was supposed to be an even more lewd expression, lol.
How's the Intel GPU treating ya? Looks awesome!
Bi here, and my husband and I wash every part of each other, though we haven't done it for awhile since our showers aren't really meant for more than one person at a time.
Once in a blue moon though, it is pretty fun at a luxury hotel or something :)
Lol, I blacked out my sub and then never returned. Not sure what happened to it, but reddit is so god awful I don't even bother trying to check.
That cult has her by the balls, and is fucking nuts. Having her direct security agencies while she's possessed by Butler is a terrible idea.
Kacee's mod might be the best post game content I've ever played. So fucking good.
If only we also tossed out imperial measurements and 12 hour time.
Women get some really cool ski and backpack designs, too. One time they had skis with cactuses and coyotes on them but said they were for women. The men's version was like...flat black or some bullshit like that.
At this point, I'm starting to just say fuck it, I'm buying the cooler design unless there's some actual reason why there's a gendered difference (such as boob space or muscle layout differences).
There are lots of great underwear for guys out there. I have some that have cool colors stitched in, or patterns that look like refracted wavy pool water as seen from underwater.
Gay and queer underwear companies make some awesome looking underwear, too (and it's not like anyone is going to really see your underwear anyways).
My guess is the latter, Iran and North Korea aren't exactly making state of the art weaponry. And Russia has burned through most of its rusted out and repainted armament at this point. That leaves either new weapons, scuffed imports from "shithole"-class countries, or weird weapons.
At any rate, nuking your nextdoor neighbors and having the radiation potentially drifting over parts of your country, potentially even your capital (yield dependent) seems like a stupid idea. Not to mention it ruining their "trophy" land that they illegally acquired.
Got it! Thanks :)
Hopefully you unplugged it from the wall and drained the capacitors before reaching down. xD
Glad you still have hands!
Moto g stylus 5g.
Once I knew it was $600 to repair, I bought a cheaper phone. I had plans to buy a used version of my flagship and raid it for parts, but in the end, it just didn't pencil out financially.
Plus, I hadn't had a phone for a week+ and it was getting difficult to do work since my job requires 2FA on personal devices (a terrible idea, btw).
Same. Idgaf if the sun comes up well after I've started work, I want sun after work so I don't feel like an animal living in complete darkness.
Can you elaborate on some of the bullets dodged? Not from that part of the world and I've only heard of the economic ramifications. I'd be curious to hear about it in greater detail, if you have the time!
God, I feel this. One of my uni girlriends was similar. I was attracted to bad women or women with problems, lol. Then I fell in love with a really nice guy who was like, the polar opposite of everyone I had dated prior. Fast forward years later, and we're married and finally starting to think about having kids. Feels closer to the right time :)
Signs point to e-bike maker Juiced Bikes going out of business
An early pioneer in the North American electric bicycle market, Juiced Bikes appears to be in collapse. According to many...

Clear coolant suggestions for a watercooled PC?
Hello! I've had a watercooled PC for a number of years, but more recently it's been difficult to find EKWB Cryofluid Clear at reasonable prices. I'm thinking of switching to something like Mayhem's x1 coolant, or Alphacool's eiswater.
Any suggestions? Will it matter that some old fluid might still be trapped in a rad even after a flush? I'm hoping to not do a full teardown.
I'm thinking about going with this:

Parisians Are Choosing Bikes Over Cars. Will New Yorkers Do That, Too? - The New York Times (free article)
The transformation of cycling access in Paris over the past few years may have lessons for New York and its car-clogged streets.
Salivating for mid-block crosswalks, more armored bike lanes, daylit intersections, and more on the west coast, too.
U.S. Plans to Accuse RealPage of Enabling Collusion on Rents - The New York Times (Free Article)
The Justice Department is set to file an antitrust suit against the real estate company RealPage alleging illegal price-fixing facilitated by algorithms.
RealPage, maker of YieldStar, is almost singlehandedly the ones causing rent to skyrocket across much of the United States.
>One of the algorithmâs developers told ProPublica that leasing agents had âtoo much empathyâ compared to computer generated pricing.
You can learn more about them here and why this antitrust case is so important:

How Did Mpox Become a Global Emergency? Whatâs Next? - The New York Times
The virus is evolving, and the newest version spreads more often through heterosexual populations. Sweden reported the first case outside Africa.
Perhaps not too surprising to us, but researchers are discovering just how great undersea grasses are at filtering out pollutants. Sounds like planted aquariums are the way to go!
Climate change has taken a devastating toll on eelgrass, a kind of seagrass, in some areas of the Salish Sea. Declines of 90% and more have been documented in the San Juan Islands because of a wasting disease.
Seattle adds speed humps to Alki in bid to stop speeding and street racing

A Disease That Makes Children Age Rapidly Gets Closer to a Cure - The New York Times (free article)
Progress in the quest to help progeria patients suggests that gene editing techniques may help treat other ultrarare conditions.
I love stories like these: scientists and the NIH working to create a cure for an unprofitable disease, just because it would make the world a better place. And in the interim, making new discoveries that might potentially benefit society at large.
The discovery that lumps of metal on the seafloor produce oxygen raises questions over plans to mine the deep ocean.
Perhaps we shouldn't start deep sea mining yet.

How do you deal with hair algae?
I've been fighting it for awhile. Various nutrient levels, light levels, etc. Considering getting a nerite snail, but heard they can be a bit of an escape artist. Any tips?

Column: Good news for 100% clean energy. Deep Geothermal has finally arrived
Superhot underground rocks can supply 24/7 clean power, combating the climate crisis.
There are geothermal solutions for geothermal features near the surface already. This article is about advances in deep geothermal solutions: 15,000+ feet of pipe, deep into the earth. Utilizing the falling cost of horizontal drilling equipment from the fracking industry, there are now solutions to drill 10,000 feet down, and 5,000 feet sideways to improve the likelihood of running into superheated rock. Currently, drilling will be limited to geothermally gifted areas of America, but may be able to expand to less fortunate areas as the technology improves and gets even less expensive.
Miserable, Aggressive, Dull- How Heat Affects the Brain - The New York Times (Free article)
High temperatures can make us miserable. Research shows they also make us aggressive, impulsive and dumb.
Looks like critical thinking deteriorates above 72f/22c. Crime swings higher. Lowering your core temperature seems to help, even if you live in a climate with unavoidable heat.
