But why think of others or move your body unnecessarily when you could just buy a truck large enough to crush all other objects in the roadway?
How fitting, that content no one wrote, goes on to be content no one reads.
Great! Glad I could help spread the word.
You probably already saw, but they have a Lemmy Community for questions and discussions: !thunder_app@lemmy.world And if you're so inclined, you could even contribute to the development of the app on their GitHub: https://github.com/thunder-app/thunder/
Some of these GIF hosts can be pretty obtuse. I was able to get at this GIF by going to the embed page and clicking/tapping the "copy link" button. In this case, the only difference in the two URLs was the file extension.
I switched from Sync to Thunder months ago (mostly for user tagging) and I don't feel like I gave up much in exchange.
Google "metal movie poster (title-of-movie-here)" and you'll find a bunch of online stores that sell images printed on some kind of metal, often with a graphic border for "a distressed/vintage look."
I'm fairly certain these are the result of some script that grabs popular images, adds the border, and creates the listing. Also, the border probably helps them evade some reverse-image-searches performed by the actual artists/copyright holders.
I used to live in an apartment where the guy across the hall from me made wine from all sorts of unconventional fruit. I brew beer, and we would trade sometimes. Several of his wines were really good, but the banana wine was the best one by far!
I've got three, ranging between 8 and nearly 10 years old, with the oldest one seeing exponentially more use than the others, and they all still work flawlessly. I tend to put hundreds of hours into a handful of games, but I don't use them every day, if that helps quantify my usage a bit.
What a vile woman.
Ya gotta appreciate the guy's perfectly executed Uno Reverse Card when she started winding up to throw her cup of coffee.
Police said the individuals were "armed with firearms."
Yup.
Just you wait...

No one's telling you that you don't have that choice... Just that over-indulging in that choice could lead to heart disease. What you find to be an acceptable level of risk is entirely up to you.
Shoutout to The Chats for helping to finally identify(?) Mr. Democracy Manifest.
Yeah, please. Why be deceptive? It serves no one.
Better yet, take responsibility for your own pleasure. Play an active role in getting what you want out of the act. Communicate. Why wouldn't you?
Man, people have no memory.
What was the total payout per-person of the Trump checks? Something like $2000? We only got those because the country was on lockdown, and that's only like a month's worth of expenses for me (and I live in a relatively low COL area).

D23 is a biannual event where Disney reveals their plans for parks, media, and other entertainment. D23 2024 took place this past weekend, and there were a lot of big announcements. In an effort to draw contrast with previous D23 events which included some highly speculative plans, Disney Experiences Chairmen Josh D'Amaro prefaced the Imagineering project announcements by saying:
> “Everything we share here tonight is in active development. This isn’t Blue Sky. We’re doing all of it.”
I haven't found a singular, concise list of all the announcements in one place, so I'm trying to compile it all here. Please chime in if you see I missed anything, or if you're particularly hyped (or particularly not hyped) about any of these announcements!
Parks
-
Magic Kingdom
- Villians-themed land to be added, adjacent to Frontierland. There's some concept art and "two new attractions planned as well as dining, shopping and more."
- Two Cars attractions to be added in Frontierland. There's some concept art for that as well. Not a mirror of the existing Cars Land or Radiator Springs Racers, but similar in concept to the latter. The concept art seems to indicate that this attraction will entirely replace the Rivers of America and Tom Sawyer Island attractions.
- Disney Starlight, a new night-time parade, premiers Summer of 2025.
-
Animal Kingdom
- Tropical Americas Land to replace Dinoland USA (concept art here), set to open in 2027, with at least two new attractions planned:
- An Indiana Jones ride, which will replace the Dinosaur ride. Seems to re-use the existing ride vehicles and looks similar to Indiana Jones Adventure, but "will be an all-new adventure, unlike any of the existing Indy attractions around the world."
- An Encanto dark-ride that "takes place inside Casita on the day after young Antonio receives his gift of communicating with animals."
-
Hollywood Studios

- Stark Flight Lab, which resembles the mechanics of Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey at Universal, but with two people per ride vehicle.

A very candid look at the development of the "BDX Droids" that were play-tested at Galaxy's Edge in Disneyland late last year. Thought it was really interesting and fun!
