D-Link refuses to patch a security flaw on over 60,000 NAS devices — the company instead recommends replacing legacy NAS with newer models
  • Just looked it up and the DNS-320 Version 1.00 is from 2010. I get it on the company side thats old and was a given to be out of date. People who own it should take more mitigations to protect against any unwanted connections. Or use something that doesn't rely on proprietary firmwares like truenas or unraid.

  • Bitwarden update: sdk-internal now GPL, sdk/sdk-secrets to remain proprietary but not used in clients
  • This makes sense and is quite common for opensource businesses. They have the main product which is open then they have a business only element either a module or plugin part which is designed for businesses not gen pop and isnt open. They screwed up the delivery on here and badly communicated it but if they did it right nobody would have noticed the secrets managment part at all because they don't use bw business.
