A friend with a good set of tools. Who you can trade labor with. Many car tasks need 2 people so if you can hang out with someone else working on their car and they return the favor you are greatly ahead. Not only that but you will teach each other (well at the start that person will teach you - do plenty of work to pay them for their effort to teach you).
After that tool do you need for the current job that either your friend doesn't have or you use so often it is worth having your own. Every car has its own set of special tools that are not used for any other car you will ever have but you need it to do some job. You will need several torque wrenches as they have different ranges, but you won't need them all for the first project.
Better than the Haynes manual, buy the factory service manual - they are generally $200 or so, but they are so much better than Haynes that it is worth the cost.
Good companies also know who is generating value and ensure they won't leave.
Note that I specified GOOD there. A lot of companies are not good.
Good companies will notice and ensure you get a larger raise.
Finding a good company is a hard problem though.
Sounds like you have never used a good flathead screwdriver. Most of them are cheaply made and so have that problem. With a good flathead screwdriver that problem doesn't exist (they don't need to be in axial alignment). I've had the pleasure of using a good flathead screwdriver exactly once in my life - even the expensive ones are typically made wrong and have all the problems you state.
We save money on potato peelers because the right handed people in the family use the other side of the blade and so it lasts twice as wrong.
Downside is right harders want to trade peelers with us not realizing that there are right handers in the family and so ours are dull on both sides.
Unfortunetely they can walk for at least half a year at current rates using up soviet garbage. Possibly several years, we can only guess as to the future
Flathead is great. It is most flthead screwdrives that suck. Treat yourself to a parallel groud screw driver and you will change your tune.
note that I said screwdriver note bit. Flathead must be driven by hand. With the right pilot hole this isn't hard. In proffessional settings they demand the speed and process reduction from self tapping power driven screws but I'm not in that situation.
Contribute to some other game that already exists if possible. that is the power of open source - when many people over many years come together to work on all the tedious details to make a complex polished game free from market pressure. When you do many choices have already been made for you, so they can tell you where to start. Want to add a new puzzle, put a picture on some wall, or whatever - they will tell you how to do that.
If nothing is like your idea you can start from scratch. Likewise sometimes the existing people involved in the game are jerks and you need to start over or fork - but are you sure it is them and not you. These are not ideal cases though and should be avoided. Much better to work with others if possible.
If you start from scratch you should be thinking about what game engine to write in. You can write a game from scratch in raw code, but in general step one is picking your engine and then living with the limits of that engine.
This is relatively common for a new model car that is in demand charge a markup to people who cannot wait, then when those people run out lower prices. sometimes this lasts for a week sometimes for a month.
the real question is how soon until they start making deals.
Start with a project and buy just what you need. You can spend a lot of money on tools and then discover your interests never have you use that tool. Try to stick with the tools you have and master them before buying a new one. So pick a project that can mostly be done with tools you have, and then buy only the one tool you need. Of course this must be balanced - if you really need something made now buy the tools as needed and you will have them, but if you have a choice do projects within the abilities of your current tools.
Your wanted tool list isn't bad - you should have it. However the point isn't to go buy them. The point is to watch local craigslist, auctions, and such to see if something on the "someday" list goes on sale cheap. You should know enough about the tools to have a good idea of what you will take used. There are some great 60 year old tools out there for cheap that work better than anything you can afford new - but they don't go on sale everyday, and some of them need significant work before they become great again (are you willing to do that work? Machinery restoration is a fun hobby but it isn't going to make furniture so it might not be for you). Thus you should know what to look for in a used machine to decide if a deal is the right one for you.
Europe's plan for war didn't need lots of artillery shells. However Europe isn't providing Ukraine with the air power needed to fight without lots of artillery which makes one wonder if they have enough capacity to build more if a competent Russia had attacked Europe instead.
Several thousand dollars (including labor) is not cheap. Now scale that to every house.
Still the cheapest source of energy long term but when you need to come up with the money up front it is expensive.
10k needs to be reported to federal authorities, which is annoying but not a big deal. They would someone prefer you to withdraw less, but they won't tell you this as withdrawing just under 10k a few times to escape reporting is a bigger deal than a single larger withdrawal that must be reported. (come to think of it, this 10k number is 20 years old, probably changed since)
When dealing with that much money It is generally best to work electronically. There are logs of what happened so if there is trouble investigators can figure it out. Cash is anonymous and so if there are problems you have less ability to catch whoever stole it. I'm assume that your need for money is legal of course.
Serviced by three men (I've seen women doing the job too), one to sit in the armored vehicle holding a gun but otherwise bored; one to old a gun and watch the work but mostly looking bored; and one to open the machine and replace the cash. The first two are there to keep the person doing the work honest and be ready if someone attempts a robbery (have 40k in cash makes them a target). That is in a safe office building, I'm sure they have stricter policies in bad neighborhoods.
This needs a full analysis, but I suspect it is far more costly than the grid while being less reliable overall. Ukraine because they are at war is a partial exception, but even in their case it probably makes sense to fix the grid where possible and when the grid is down greatly reduce energy use to minimize the need for local power.
Batteries are expensive. Solar is expensive. By having a grid you can trade energy around. When your sun is shining you send some someone elsewhere (very far away) under clouds, then when you have clouds you get energy from them. In this way you both need much less batteries and/or much less need for solar cells (that sometimes will not produce used energy because your batteries are fully charged)
imo most countries signed it only after verifying some other allie (read US) would not and would place mines for them in war. They are far to valuable for any military leader to agree to not use, and only a fool doesn't listen to their generals about what is useful for defense.
It is a useful identifier only in the context of how black men a different (from "normal men"?). Most of the time black men are just men, but there are a few ways they are different. If you are not specificity trying to bring out one of that cases where black men a different you are continuing the idea that black men are different which doesn't help most of the cases where they are different. There are a couple medical instances where black men are different that should remain, but for the most part differences between black men and [normal?] men are just about discrimination and so if that doesn't apply to what you are talking about then black men is a harmful lable.
There is the real question. Many "day of X" are to raise awareness of some issue. There are some real men specific issues in society that should be addressed, but I get the impression most will be toxic about it instead (I wonder how many are doing this to smear men's issues). Of course the issues men face in society are overall not too big a deal, and I'm not sure it is worth a day (a long with most other things that get a day)
I suspect he would never mash potatoes.
