A man walks up to a tailor in the agora at Delphi with a couple of torn chlamydes in hand. The tailor glances at him. "Euripides?"
The man nods. "Eumenides?"
Also, here's the context of the post title.
As detailed in the song bio, Byrne was aping televangelists in the style of the voiceover, which is a neat tie-back to Christian Comics and the rapture.
"A reference community for data and sources," if you can make sense of that. I'm not sure I can.

The only acceptable circumstance is if you both talk to each other at the exact same instance. Extra leeway is granted if you say the same exact thing. If the utterance interval exceeds 250ms, the earlier speaker must turn themselves over to the authorities.
Can't believe you had to ask, really; these are basic social maxims.
Three shall be the number thou shalt count, and the number of the counting shall be three. Four shalt thou not count, neither count thou two, excepting that thou then proceed to three. Five is right out.
The 6th Earl of Leicester was responsible for ethnic cleansing of English Jews, and his father depicted here had a key role in slaughtering the Cathars in Languedoc as you've mentioned in the title, so maybe what goes around comes around?
Maybe they've improved!
I'm baffled by the constant good reviews I read about Henry vacuum cleaners. Either they're doing really well in convincing people that the product's good just because they expected it to be good, or you're all upgrading from really terrible hoovers.
Henry can't navigate a corner despite being round, it has so-so suction power, and it has nowhere to stash attachments (or at least, the last one I used didn't).
It does have a big smiley face on the front, though. Maybe that's the ticket.
This is Simon IV de Montfort, not to be confused with his father Simon IV de Montfort about which we know little. Our de Montfort is therefore sometimes named Simon V de Montfort, but is not to be confused with his son Simon V de Montfort, who was hacked apart by royalists at Evesham.
[Funko Fusion] game feels like an off-brand LEGO game in all the worst ways
I have a bias here because I've never understood the appeal of model collecting in general, and of dead-eyed, amorphous Funko Pops in particular, but I am shocked that a cash grab on the back of emotionless, artistically-bereft figurines wasn't a smash hit.
Well, not that shocked.
More context than you could ever need, and yet the context is still really "comics are batshit insane".
Unfortunately, it's difficult to reuse or recycle pasta boxes when their composition includes 50% or higher of fictional materials.
I used to do this, too, until local charities started complaining about all the lamps being posted into their donation boxes.
I did a little research. The ink sac is indeed attached near to the anus. It's thought to be an evolution of the hypobranchial gland still present in many mollusks, and the mucus-producing funnel gland that it works alongside may have originally been used to trap and excrete dirt particles when breathing through the gills - I guess very similarly to mammalian mucus in the respiratory system. It's used in conjunction with jet propulsion for distribution of the ink.
We're not sure what the use of the melanin that makes ink black was (it's kept it's current form in cephalopods for at least 300 million years) but it may have been a waste product from use in the body for camouflage or adjusting photosensitivity.
You're such pests. In your depths of your ignorance, what is it you want? Well, whatever it is you want, I can't deliver because I just don't see it.
Cephenemyia on a rock
Who knew botflies could be cute?

RIP space guars, we hardly knew ye.
Thanks for playing along with our April Fool's Day prank. We are, in fact, not pivoting to the Starfield engine.
We are, however, back on the very latest version of the Skyrim engine, thanks to some gruelling work by our Coding team, and of the Creation Kit, thanks in part to the CKPE team 💌
Now back to your regularly scheduled project updates. There's also more of the Concept-to-Asset video series on the horizon, and a bigger progress video is being worked on as we speak. Onwards and upwards! 🚀
After years of pouring love and dedication to recreating Morrowind in Skyrim's engine, we're reaching for the moon: say hello to Skywind!
After years of pouring love and dedication to recreating Morrowind in Skyrim's engine, we're reaching for the moon: we're shifting to Starfield's engine.
Say hello to Starwind! 🚀
- Why walk when you can fly? Rocket boosted guars!
- That's no moon(s)! Assemble your own interstellar silt strider.
- The space race, now with 100% more cliff racers
Tamriel's vibrant and variant landscapes have been our home for years, a realm where our passion could roam as free as the nix hounds of Vvardenfell. But as we looked up at the stars above, we saw the potential for magic far beyond what Skyrim's engine could offer. Starfield's cutting-edge tech and vast cosmic canvas present us with the opportunity to reimagine Morrowind like never before.
We're grateful for your support, and we look forward to continuing on this journey with you, to the cosmos and beyond.

A vestige of prestige: the Dwemer ruin of Nchuleft, by Dominik Włodarczyk
This ancient Dwemer freehold straddles the border of the Grazelands and the Ashlands, and served historically as an important neutral ground for diplomatic talks. Its remaining inhabitants are not so eager for polite conversation.
We’ve taken a deep dive into game asset creation with the first Skywind Concept-to-Asset episode! This time, we’re looking at the Iron Armor.

CONFESSION TIME: we have an ulterior motive with this new series. It's not very evil, though. We love showing off what we've made, the attention we pay to detail, and our determination to make Skywind really goddamn good, BUT...
WE NEED 3D CLOTHING ARTISTS. It's a major bottleneck for us at the moment, and has been for some time. If you've got experience in modelling 3D clothing and soft materials, or if you know someone else who fits the bill, we'd be really keen to hear from them. Tell everyone you know 💚

You can help! If you know a 3D artist who might want to help with future models for Skywind - especially clothing artists - please send them our way. We’d love to hear from them: https://discord.gg/skywind

These bas reliefs, by the spookily talented Fury_on, will be used to decorate Dunmer strongholds. The ancient Chimer were different from the Dunmer we know in 3E427, and we've tried to give these bas reliefs an esoteric and ancient vibe, yet still reminiscent of contemporary Temple art styles.
One bas relief shows an ancestor spirit rising from the grave and blessing supplicants who seek to learn from their predecessors.
The other bas relief gives an insight into the ancient Chimer, showing a dual perspective of a first-Era Nede warrior: one aspect of it conveys the Nedes as a grave danger, a demonic creature that burns villages and strongholds, while the other aspect is that of a fallen enemy, conveying that this monster can still be slain by brave Chimer.
These bas reliefs were drawn in 2D, but we plan to translate them to 3D for enhanced visuals.
