I think you can point to a file instead too
I will say, the Le Chat provider is pretty decent. You really can use it more natural language. "Rewrite it with a better rhyme scheme" "remove the last line" and it just got it.
Why no local option though? Why no anonmysing option?
Edit: There is a right click option which does make this officially actually useful for me now (summarize this!).
Other models do have RAG options and Mist real supports making agents with specified documentation too to at least fine tune too (not as good as full grounding though IMHO)
I was disappointed there was no local option...
For real. Dude seems to think people can jack around and do nothing in office
Tbh sounds yet another "if we lived in another society this would be great" how much money is spent trying to measure, manage and control people doing the actual work?
Honestly though make an opensource version of this and run in it within the team, make the results public to the team and it's a great tool to motivate coworkers and make sure they are working without needing a manager (as often at least) to assign KPIs and get status reports.
Never got why small government guys would support it where I lived. It's just the government stepping in to limit the union on behalf of big corporations
Energy independence is one of my favorite reasons for it. Getting actually invest and own my power generation vs being stuck in a subscription with a corporation who is subject to geopolitical movements on where, how and when they can buy their fuel.
Crazy to see right winger, pepper types sometimes (not all of them) get sucked into being a liberal thing lol. Like is it a liberal thing to want to own my house or car too? What a weird thing to think
Awesome! Servo as an embedded solution is a great choice imho! Glad to see them start their to build into the full browser
At DefCon this year a dude had a robot that used different LLMs for different pieces including a movement one that out put specific API structured output.
Maybe something like that to take complex output and turn them into lower latency smaller outputs
To discover and adhere to an objectively moral life.
Yeah. I feel like last year is the best full year to have near perfect surveillance of any point or moment. Most actionable data would be found then.
Gamejams! They always look like a blast especially if your goal is just getting something started.
Con: Fertility value sky rockets resulting in either a society led by the fertile or led to force the fertile to breed. Ala hands maid's tale. Con: hand maid's tale
I mean isn't Servo just the Gecko replacement?
I am super excited about too, but it's kind of funny to say eat the company that built it and language around it's lunch lol
Or at least community cooperatives. Having no voice or say in how your fixed infrastructure is operated is asking to be exploited
"Hey I'm going to buy your location data tonight."
"I like to know where you go on Thursdays"
This what Google, Facebook, X, your ISP, and the junk apps on your phone actually get from you, and everyone around you when you use their creepy apps.
Hit me up on Mastadon, use Tor, use DDG, we should have an restraining order against these creeps. Worse yet they don't just want it for themselves they sell and share it with company, countries, anyone they like, and don't tell you.
This is how I WANT to talk about because it's how I feel. Their just strangers, I wouldn't tell a stranger on the street any of this. I feel like this is such a fringe thought for people though.
Right. It's the difference between I've been to Holland and I've lived in Springfield Missouri and I am at Holland right now and my house in Missouri is currently unoccupied and full of valuables.
Time of info can make a heck of a difference
Yes and no right? Again randomness or "temperature" is pretty standard
"The same thing every day" is likely to appeal to few.
The echo chamber effect or honestly the worse effect showing just the worst of people you disagree with, is a real issue though. Kind of an effect of selection bias though too
Have you messed with RAG yet? That the leg in the journey to me. I am hoping it will help a little with the "sketchy" part of info.
Is the middle ground push. Maybe we can convince people to at least do both?
Is there any software to help manage stakeholder voting rights?
I am trying to migrate to cooperative or mutual owned businesses in my life, but one real problem I have is managing all of the elections and votes I am part of now.
Does anyone know of good tools to help store and track stakeholder rights and participation? Like reminders that a vote is in month. Best places to find updates and info. Etc?

Not me, but I honestly, this seems like a cool idea. I like the idea of possibly creating a fine tunned model per user that translates vibes to what would resonate better with another person.

Peertube to Lemmy mismatches
Really, how awesome is that? We could also show some support being active there from our Lemmy accounts! !thelinuxexperiment_channel@tilvids.com [/c/thelinuxexperiment_channel@tilvids.com] [https://tilvids.com/video-channels/thelinuxexperiment_channel] Links: - Lemmy.ml: https://lemmy.ml/c/thelinuxe...
Hey everyone, I saw this post about peertube channels being able to be seen as communities on lemmy, but I noticed that the comments don't show on the community post.
I was wondering if anyone else was tracking anything about this already, or any other peertube to lemmy integrations, like the embedded video playback from peertube (new feature) or peertube's remote account features (comment using any fediverse account) not working with Lemmy users (at least not me right now).
Update 01: Being tracked here on Lemmy's repo. Still interested in everyone's thoughts.

AMD Ryzen AI hardware, currently unsupported on Linux
https://www.phoronix.com/news/AMD-Ryzen-AI-Open-Source-Demo AMD Has Open-Source Ryzen AI Demo Code - But Only For Windows
Does anyone know if/when AMD will support Linux on their new NPU? If it's never or too far out, what is everyone else looking towards for open source AI development?
This issue is apparently tracking the Linux communities request for it.
Has anyone looked at codifying community control of communities before?
Hello all, I am just curious if anyone has taken a tool like community rule to define how their instance or community control is handled? Even more so if there has been any effort to make the actual decision-making actionable by the system.
Build communities on Matrix. Contribute to commune-os/commune-server development by creating an account on GitHub.
Cool seeming project make more open matrix communities with plans to integrate with the ActivityPub standard. I really like the idea personally of being able to quickly turn a chat thread into a wider post/thread.
IPv6 mutli-GB jumbo frames?
Has anyone messed with using the very large jumbo frames for IPv6 for anything like video transfer, or large file transfers?
I'm curious if anyone has done it for firewall overhead reduction too
