The lack of growls for the last however many albums just felt like they weren't using all the tools available to them. I was excited to hear harsh vocals again, though I'm still sort of over the 70s prog sound.
Gotta have some balls to attack Bissonnette. Dude is a monster. The article didn't say how many of the attackers he managed to hospitalize but I imagine they didn't come out unscathed.
There are so many things in the Trumpiverse that can't really be parodied because they're too stupid. Just off the top of my head, Four Seasons Total Landscaping, Fraud Guarantee, Sean Spicer's hatred of Dippin' Dots, covfefe, etc.

You don't need software. This is definitely autotuned, but she is a good singer. One thing to listen for is that the pitch is so perfect it almost sounds like a synthesizer. You can't fake the timbre of the voice though, which is why I say she's a good singer.

Thoughts after one playthrough in the car:
Akerfeldt growled again! Rejoice! I've been waiting for them to mix in a little more metal with the prog sound, and there's moments of it which sounds pretty cool. Overall my initial thoughts are that the album is fairly good but lacks some of the repetitiveness and groove that made mid-career Opeth some of my favorite music. I usually dislike any album the first time I hear it though, so it's a good sign that I thought this one was decent.
I haven't listened to it yet, and I've liked their albums less and less since the Heritage shift, so I don't have high expectations for this one. But I'll give it a run and check back in.
I've owned a house for a long time, but the issue is paying their current rent/bills while also saving enough for a down payment.
