Additional activities this December to celebrate PlayStation’s 30th anniversary.
Well, something happened within Sony Entertainment, he got removed as a President of Worldwide Studios, and got demoted to indie thing. This is also when PS headquarters moved to US from Japan.
Good luck to him for whatever he does next.

Nice! Love the Cat Quest games, glad to see more content!
I wasn't talking about 3rd party, there are enough of them that will run on a PS4 level hardware as long as we don't count new AAA. Problem is first party games. If there are no first party games, then on what basis can it compete with Steam Deck or upcoming Switch 2?
With the way game industry is, I wonder how many of these will be layed off in couple of years with something like "we overestimated industry expansion" or something.
I have become pretty pessimistic about gaming companies.
They have just released a beta of streaming directly from cloud. Don't know if there are any limitations, but if everything goes well, it may release officially in a few months.
Well, you still have that other kidney...
Even if it's a handheld PS4, if it can't play any latest PS5 games, then Sony would need to support it with games made specifically for it, and I don't think they give enough output to support two systems.
Steam Deck is supported by the huge steam library, so difficult to compete with it without good first party support.
I am in a similar boat. And it isn't just Vita, they did same with PS VR and PS VR 2.
If it isn't their main home console, Sony can't be trusted to support it with their first party titles.
Going to wait for actual announcement and details to make up my mind about this, but don't care about it in general, and I doubt there is much they can say about it that would make me buy it on day 1.
Probably because of all the gorgeous games. 😀
Welcome back, and glad to see you get your groove back!
I agree with having too many puzzle pieces in your repertoire, there are many items that do the same things though, so it's basically which items / method you prefer.
Good luck with Lightning Returns and Snowboard Kids!
That Puyo Puyo match was brutal. That's pretty much how my game goes too, except I am the one on losing side. If I ever do get back into it (which will probably be if there's a nice new game), will ping you for tips.
I am same with shmups, though technically speaking, my problem is not with shmup aspect of it, but the bullet hell aspect.
I don't recall if I played the original GTA or not, but I loved GTA 2. Tanks controls were the norm back then, so don't recall having much issue with it. Played it a ton.
Interesting, looks good.
Thanks for the info about the quests. And good luck with Qualia, hope it is better than how it looks.
What are you playing this weekend? 2024-11-22
Finished Spider-man 2, completed everything to 100% and got the Platinum. Now playing through main story again in NG+ for a single DLC trophy. Should be done with in a day or so. Haven't decided what to play on PS next, will probably just play some WWE 2K24 as a secondary game or maybe some other small game from my backlog.
Will start focusing on Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness & the Secret Hideout from this weekend. Even with that, it's a pretty long game, so will probably take a while to complete.
After some deliberation I have officially dropped Trails in the Sky: SC, I was enjoying the game (other than when I got stuck at the boss), but remake is launching next year, and I won't be done with the full series before that, so will play that when it launches.
I started Pillars of Eternity on PC, had it in my backlog for a looong time, tried playing on my old PC once but it couldn't run it properly, so finally getting around to playing it. Not going to focus on it, will just play it a bit here and there.
What about all of you? What have you been playing?

Ah okay. Good luck!
Maybe they will keep the dark, grim, shadowy graphics and the fast paced shooting.

Are you playing all Halo games at once? I recall you were playing Halo: CE couple of days ago, and there was also some mention of Halo 3. Or have you finished both those games?
If the buyout happens, it may push other platforms to start buying companies too, before everything gets exclusive.
Not to mention Acquire, who recently made Mario + Luigi Brothership
Personally, not a fan of consolidation in the industry, so would like FormSoft to remain independent. Well, as independent as it is now.
