I am being clear with you, you can't understand because you don't like what I am saying. It's not cryptic. It's obvious.
Let me just start by pointing out that you came into a thread asking about your favorite album at this moment and you stated how you don't like albums. You started with a negative response. I gave you a chance to be a part of the conversation but you went even more negative.
You like songs. You listen to them one after another. But your missing the point of what an album is to the people who make albums.
You like the pretty songs but you don't know what it means.
The lyrics I quoted are from Kurt Cobain who famously hated poser music fans. He wanted his music listener to listen to his album but the music industry turned him into a pop star by releasing his songs as singles. He hated how people only knew Smells Like Teen Spirit or his other radio hits but didn't know his other stuff and only ever wanted to hear one song.

So I went and listened to the tracks on her bandcamp page. And in a couple days I'll have the vinyl! What a weird album! I feel like it's bound to get many repeat listens. So much to take in!
Reminds me of listening to the Alvvays albums. Little awkward at first but clearly something unique and special!

You will never hear a recorded song more clearly than vinyl. A good record player patched into a big 1970s cabinet console. The sound is only beat by live music.
Have you considered that maybe you don't like music?
If you ever get into vinyl, you will appreciate the album format a lot more.

What is your favorite places to visit in Scotland?
My wife and I are looking to have a vacation in Scotland and we're trying to figure out what we should plan. We are American but don't care for tourists traveling. I love to feel a more realistic local experience. My favorite memories of our Ireland trip are small town pubs and rural scenic places. The museums like the one in Trinity College was good too. I enjoyed walking the backstreets of Dublin and finding the Stags Head pub.

When the server breaks, who do we contact?
It seems that the server was broken for more then 24 hours and I wasn't sure who to contact. So, who do we ask to reboot or fix the instance if its down?
Posts don't appear to propagate to other instances
So I'm noticing that I don't seem to get any engagement when I'm posting replies to posts generated on other instances. Just now I thought I'd go directly to a thread on lemmy.world to see if my comment was showing there but it isn't. Other non lemmy.world users are showing up.
Does anybody else notice this or is it just me?
