Seems like blame can be applied at least three ways at once.
At that point, it seems like he's still falling, doing the wrong thing for what he thinks are the right reasons.
I don't have a time in mind, but I suspect that him having the realization would be after that.
Bathing as a teenager, I wasn't overly concerned about cleanliness or speed. I was more worried about hot water and laying down for a bit longer in the morning.
Now, as an adult, I haven't had a bath in several years. I've thought about it; standing, for me, is hard because I'm obese and have an old ankle injury that was repaired incorrectly. However, ultimately, I always end up going for the shower - because, as you said, it's more efficient - then trembling on the bed for ten minutes until my ankle recovers.
I agree, though. For effectiveness, go for a shower. For luxury, a bath might be appropriate.
Regardless of whether it was intentional, that was an excellent pun.
I'm not suggesting he didn't.
You've reminded me of a rather odd book series.
I used to bathe in the shower.
My parents were concerned about water usage and so banned baths. I, a stubborn teenager, just started using the dangling shower head instead of the bath tap to fill the tub. Presumably they knew, but they never called me on it.
One time, when I was around thirty, my dad said to me "I was stabbed once." I don't remember how it came up or the exact words, as thirty was a while ago.
Anyway, according to him, "it was just a little stab." Apparently, during the story in question, he was on an associate's boat and the associate became jealous of Dad's interactions with a woman, instructing him to leave. Dad objected, as the boat in question was not docked. The associate stabbed Dad in the shoulder (just a little), Dad jumped off the boat and swam back to shore and never went to get checked out.
Dad wasn't generally the type to make up stories, so I believe it happened. I don't know when, but I think it was well before even my eldest sibling was a sparkle in Dad's eye and Dad has since passed; as such, I don't know any details. However, I would have a. Been getting a tetanus shot after getting stabbed and b. DEFINITELY gotten checked out after having a fresh, open wound exposed to untreated water. Even if it was just a little one.
Batman being a masochist would make sense, not sure if that's ever been canonically explored.
Him liking that genre of music seems less likely, though. I like your subtle change.
Indeed, I'm working on reducing the tech giants in my life, though still focusing on Google. If it's any consolation, I used my browser over the app to get that link so that I could remove the tracking. I appreciate the alternative recommendation; my reading has gone way down since having a kid, so most of my online purchases are no longer books.
However ... I'll try to default to Goodreads for recommendations.
Thanks again!
Huh. I've also been trackballing for ... Maybe 24 years ... And I've dislocated my shoulder 14 times. I never connected the two; I figured the shoulder thing was due to volleyball, since that's how I did it the first time.
Based on your comment, you probably don't need this, but this is an excellent and informative book about the history of the post office: https://www.amazon.com/How-Post-Office-Created-America/dp/0143130064/
She was a special lady. Still is, but was, too.
Same for this guy! Well, about the latter. I don't know his feelings on the former.
Same.
I also use one for gaming.
I just find them generally preferable to any other type of mouse I've tried.
Why would you argue with a banana? You're obviously not a banana.
Ah, sorry. I thought we were talking about general functionality, not specific to the browser or tab functionality. Thanks for following up!
When I made my comment, I was worried that "DE" would be interpreted as a typo ... But not enough to expand it.
Excellent! If you can incorporate them into your workflow, you may find your efficiency mildly enhanced, as I did.
In Windows, nothing. In Linux, if your DE supports it, you can hold down the Alt key and click anywhere to drag it, rather than using the title bar.
For middle click pasting: normally, to copy and paste text, you'd have to use Ctrl+c,Ctrl+v (or equivalent methods). Again, if your setup supports it, instead you can just highlight text, then middle click elsewhere to paste the highlighted text.
I shared my sister's artwork elsewhere, it was suggested that I post some here
Before last night I didn't even know my sister still painted. It's great that she does.
My kid just asked me "What does reality mean?"
Nothing in my life has prepared me to answer that question, let alone to a 5-year-old.

They had an idea and they went with it.
My toddler just told me their first knock knock joke
Them: Knock knock!
Me: Who's there?
Them: Unicorn.
Me: Unicorn who?
Them: Unicorn. Unicorn. Stop saying unicorn.
edit: Line breaks.
I don't know where is appropriate to post this, but it's low effort so this community seems appropriate.
Sorry if not.
I was on Reddit for a lot of years and enjoyed most of them, I really did. Almost all of that was through the Reddit is Fun app, it was one of the few apps I liked enough to pay for it.
I stopped opening RiF the day the API incident happened and I switched to here (using Connect, after some experimentation, because the UX was most similar to RiF). I wasn't confident we would gain enough users to make it worthwhile to switch, but I wanted to try and I didn't want to support spez. Just this morning I told my wife that we probably had several thousand users, then a few hours later I saw a post saying we had almost 1.5 million. That's amazing!
I struggled a bit with Lemmy when I started using it, but either Lemmy or I evolved - probably both - and now it's a wonderful experience to open every day. Y'all are great and I appreciate your presence.
edit: Probably should have said it in the original message, but in case it wasn't explicit: thank you all.
