I switched from Google Podcasts to Podcast Guru when Google Podcasts shut down. It seems ok so far.
I have experienced weird things and I think it is something that is an explainable natural phenomena that humans attribute to the supernatural in their ignorance.
Like the "ominous feeling" of a basement being stuff like radon or unshielded wiring, things that are explainable without the supernatural.
Racoons also basically create latrines where they will all go in the same spot.
And there's some really bad (bacteria? pathogen?) in it so you have to take extra extra precautions when cleaning a raccoon latrine.
Pfft. I will be surprised if Medicare and Medicaid last the next 4 years. Very surprised.
I'm over here still chuckling so thanks for sharing! Lol
Hooch is crazy is one of the best running gags ever.
People downvoting this don't want to face the RAMPANT sexualization of children in anime. To the point where it is hard to find a series without an overly sexualized child or child-like "adult".
Do series without them exist? Yes. And they're better for it.
Did you guys catch the "readings from Genesis" part?
Oh, what? Are you saying teaching rape and incest is not appropriate for children? But it's the word of infallible god!!
Can't...eyeroll...hard enough.
This pisses me off so much. I fought this shit when I went to school and all of the progress is fucking gone. And they can't even challenge it in court because Supreme Court will just mandate bibble as curriculum. Fuck Christian nationalist tiny wart dick mother fuckers.
I hope it's not against the rules to vent. Sorry.
I did too at first, you're not alone.
I see I'm not the only one who screenshotted this. I find it hilarious in a wow-our-infrastructure-is-fragile and at-least-we-arent-alone kind of way.
I live rurally and have spent the night without power 3 times in the last 2 months.
It gets old.
Hahaha you should see the outage map of Washington State.
What do I like to do? Nothing, I hate power outages.
What I typically do is I have a large stockpile of candles from an old MLM scheme. I light those and play on my phone if there's Internet. We have multiple battery banks for these occasions.
If there's no Internet I will read. Both ebooks and regular books because my attention will shift.
I also try to do something productive like study for something.
Most of all I pile like eleventy billion blankets on the bed because I'm so cold. The furry ones are poor space heaters.
When I was a kid we always played games. Like charades or something. My dad would light the camp stove and we'd entertain ourselves for the evening as a family. They were nice.
Same thing with dialog vs music or action sequences. Ugh.
Dermatologist put me on spironolactone and it is a miracle. I had horrible big painful cysts and other issues from a hormonal imbalance.
Before spironolactone I was taking spearmint and it worked fairly well. Spearmint is an anti-androgen. Androgens are hormones that excess of them can cause oily skin and other problems.
This is what is right for me, and I cannot emphasize how life changing it was, but you need to see a dermatologist to see what is right for you. And maybe your GP because any underlying hormone imbalance deserves to be treated properly by a doctor.
Just a heads up: exactly zero topical treatment ever worked for my hormonal acne. I tried -everything-. Trust me. Everything, to the best of my ability, because I hated my acne so much. I was all over skincareaddiction and asianbeauty. Save yourself time and money and skip this song and dance: go to a doctor.
This takes a left turn if that is one of those ladles made with the super cancer black plastic that we're all supposed to throw away now.
Viking_Hippie out here with the deep cuts!
