Empricorn @feddit.nl Isn't Nvidia insanely overvalued? I feel like they'll just have to readjust when the AI bubble bursts...
25 2 ReplySeikoAlpinist @slrpnk.net I don't know about overvaluation of individual companies, but i do know that DJIA is overrated legacy crap from the 1870's that only exists because human computational power was limited.
The S&P is going to be much more reliable a metric than, "Here's 30 companies to buy stock in chaps" targeted at conservative WSJ readers.

Nvidia p/e is only 65 and they keep breaking records of yoy growth.
Apple p/e is 35. Microsoft p/e is 35.
Cisco p/e at height of dotcom crash (which many people like to compare nvidia to) was >200.
Major CSPs are locked in a race to get AGI. Spending is not going to slow...
