Spirit Airlines to keep flying after filing for bankruptcy protection

Spirit said in a filing announcing bankruptcy protection that it would continue all its normal operations, and that customer tickets remain vaild.

That'll be an interesting bankruptcy. It is also surprising that Spirit went bankrupt while RyanAir seems to be doing well.
