vitamin water (sugar free, plz) + vodka
What you want to do is put bunch of gummy bears (or worms and such) in vodka for overnight, drain the vodka (to mouth preferably) and enjoy vodka infused candies. They make a great party snack, but it's recommended to serve them in 18+ (or 16 or 21) parties only.
Candy-flavored vitamin-fortified vodka sounds pretty fucking good actually.

  would you say that even the most basic low-brow rotgut bottom shelf ten bucks per bottle vodka will do, or should i aim higher into midrange stuff to decrease incidence of nasty aftertastes and trace impurities?
I did something similar. I used to drop dissolvable multi-vitamins in my beer at music festivals.
Vitamin gummies have about 50% of what it says on the label or less.
