What unintended ADHD medication were you taking before you realized?
  • Kind of off topic but when people say "capitalism is evil" it reminds me of the people who say "socialism never works"

The rebuttal is always "well REAL socialism hasn't been tried. Soviet Russia was a bastardization of the system!"

I feel that way about capitalism. America isn't a capitalist system. It's a corrupt oligarchy and that's the issue. If we had REAL capitalism I wouldn't be having this problem. Not saying life would be perfect I'm just saying corruption is the reason I can't afford a doctor, not capitalism.

  • What unintended ADHD medication were you taking before you realized?
  • It's not a combination. I'd try to buy Adderall which is what a doctor would prescribe but there is an Adderall shortage because... Well because people sell their meds to drug dealers so the FDA clamped down.

So if Adderall isn't available or too expensive I buy cocaine and use small amounts to combat my condition.

  • You nailed it. I fall into the insurance gap in my state. I make too much for free healthcare but not enough to qualify for discounts on healthcare. The Fed thinks I should be helped by my state, my state disagrees.

  • Life expectancy
  • I heard about a study that women who own horses live longer. The comment below was "if you can afford a horse you can probably afford health insurance. It isn't the horse "

  • What unintended ADHD medication were you taking before you realized?
  • Reminds me of when people find out I do cocaine and Adderall.

"Oh Michael likes to get high"

No, Michael doesn't have health insurance and has very severe adhd. I can't live a normal life without stimulants and drug dealers are cheaper than doctors. welcome to America.

  • People simultaneously seem scared of AI automating jobs, and of there being too many old people for young people to look after as they'd be too busy with jobs. Wouldn't those cancel each other out?
  • What nonsense are you going on about? I pay my taxes. I contribute to society.

Btw the local wildlife population CANT support all of us. Animals and fish will go extinct and people will starve to death and die you absolute goofball.

Oh and hunting and fishing on land our laws keep the wildlife population stable in WOULD be living off society while contributing nothing. Societies hunting and licensing laws are the only reason there's anything left to hunt or fish at all.

Enjoy jerking yourself off all day.

Edit: even native Americans nearly hunted all animals to extinction until European disease devastated their population. Native Americans had much smaller population and were far far less greedy with their hunting than your average billybob12-gauge. It's not a sustainable way to live.

  • You Pay For It, We Own It - Sony's $7.9B Lawsuit
  • I know it's like the people who get mad at me when they get hit with my chainsaw and it's like "look wrong or right I've been out here swinging these chainsaws while wearing a blindfold for 24 years you need to get used to it"

  • Mcbro
  • Boo. The idea is it wouldn't be permanent.

A better example is doctors who deal with the amputations or the paralyzed should have their legs or arms bound for a day to experience the struggle.

When it's a fair comparison it also sounds like a damn good idea.

The surgeon might try harder to save that leg, the physical therapist (? Is that the right doctor) might better understand the small everyday issues their patients deal with.

  • Is there a conversational AI chat bot that isn't... So horny? Preferably free, but I'll pay a little bit of it's good.
  • For breast cancer color - did you know pink used to be a boys color and blue girls? I see no reason the color couldn’t stay pink

I did know that interesting fact. Funny story that's loosely related is my family talked me out of naming my son Ashley. Ashley is originally a boys name.

Another fascinating thing is that pink wasn't the original color for breast cancer charity or spreading information at all. I can't remember the original color but companies didn't want to pay to actually help anything at all, they also didn't want to actually put effort in to explaining anything or educating anyone... so they switched to "awareness" and picked pink because it wasn't trademarked or owned

Basically they wanted to look like they cared but wanted to do absolutely nothing. So... Pink ribbon with the tag of "aware" We helped make you aware that this is a thing that happens. That's free and easy.

I don't want an AI girlfriend, I just want to think out loud to another person. It helps me think and solve problems on my own. I feel like AI should be perfect for that. However the couple I've seen advertised and tried out... Well they essentially are only programmed to be like:

"Let's change the subject. Maybe this picture will help" blured picture behind a $50 subscription pay wall

And I'm like "no... If I wanted to change the subject I wouldn't be talking about this subject. I'm not at all interested in $50 AI tits."

I have a very low bar of expectations. Even if the AI just responds "wow, that's crazy" to everything that would probably be fine for my needs. More would be better but I do not need lewd pictures and I'm not paying $50 a month lol.

How do I... Do court? I didn't realize my license was expired and got pulled over. Now I have court tomorrow.

I know the obvious of being polite and respectful. do I show up early like an airport? Do I just show the guard my ticket? Anything I should know or be aware of?
