It takes two is fantastic so far, my wife and I are really enjoying it on pc together and dark descent has been on my wish list since it came out. So not a bad month I think.
Yeah seconding this. If your work is putting you somewhere you need protective equipment they should provide it or a budget for you to get your own. That's how it works in the UK at least, it might be worth asking if they provide a budget or anything.
Otherwise for boots your first step is to get some decent socks, I'd recommend wool outer layer and something absorbent as a base layer. Then you want to go try on some leather boots with a rubber sole wearing your socks, you might want to get a slightly bigger size so you can put an insole insert in as well. Make sure the boots aren't too tight with your extra socks on as you need space to trap the heat but they shouldn't slide around.
So people with end stage cancer do often deteriorate like that, the morphine is unlikely to have caused her death but it would have definitely made her more comfortable. You did the right thing for your grandma. You didn't speed up her death, you cared for her through a difficult time. Thank you for being there for them.
If this is playing on your mind get in touch with the hospice/ palliative care team who were involved and talk it through with them. They will be happy to help and won't mind you calling at all, even if it is a long time since it happened.
I really liked Bloodbornes rally system, it really encouraged the aggressive play style they were going after. I was not a fan of the blood vials being a consumable as it could lead to a failure spiral if you lose to a boss a couple of times.
My memory is pretty bad, I'm dyslexic and it affects my short term memory. So I take a lot of notes for things I need to do. If it isn't written down it didn't happen, or in my case won't get done. My long term memory as a consequence is mostly big events and fun/bad stuff though I generally need a prompt to remember specifics. I usually have to check my phone if someone asks what I did last weekend and we are past Monday or Tuesday, I've slept since then you see.
Dunno about diverse but deep rock galactic had the nicest community of an online multiplayer game I've ever encountered at least whilst I was playing it. Genuinely wholesome which is practically unheard of for an online multiplayer game.
We've been watching Arcane season 2, caught up With the released episodes yesterday and looking forward to finishing it over the weekend. They've done a great job with season 2 the animation and fight scenes are brilliant.
Fun tip for audible, you can basically do that cancel trick forever.
I absolutely loved it until the game forced you into a monastery and totally killed the pacing and my interest. I should maybe go back and try to get past that bit.
The remake is soo good. They really nailed it. Kept the good bits and updated the bad. They even fixed the asteroids turret section, it's actually really fun in the remake.
Really depends on the specifics of your setting doesn't it. A lot of things aren't going to be available outside of the local network which means you'd need to logistically get into the building via other skills. Most of the time your not going to be able to access what you want from a safe location.
I loved warrior within because it hit at exactly the right time for my dark teenager phase so the dark and broody prince and the dark and broody plot were perfect for me. Sands of time was so well done. I remember thinking how cool it was that the princess outfit changed as he went through the game.
Oh you are in for a treat. I love that trilogy. Such good books.
We don't as far as I know. St John is usually pronounced Saint John. Though English is weird and you might have come across a local pronunciation. Do you know where abouts in the UK that one comes from?
Take a cooking class. Learn how to manage a kitchen fire with a fire blanket or extinguisher and get one of each. Start practicing. You'll burn stuff and make food that's no good but you'll get better. Start simple with stuff like pasta.
Yeah, in the UK they reduced the amount you can buy at once too, so drugs like paracetamol and ibuprofen only come in 16 tablet packs and you can only buy 2 packs at a shop., It's helped lower suicides quite well.
People here have a real aversion to taking tablets a lot of the time. I have to convince people to take regular paracetamol (which is non addictive and doesn't have side effects so long as you don't take more than the recommended amount) after they have had surgery semi-regularly.
The scythe the continuous fire laser is pretty bad, it got a buff recently which makes it barely useable. The sickle the assault rifle laser is pretty good and quite satisfying to use.
The dagger got buffed in the big patch and works pretty well now rather than tickling everything.
The other energy weapons worth using is the blitzer shotgun but only on the bugs and the plasma shotgun which has so much stagger it's good for both.
I like the jar cuz it hits like a truck and has decent ammo. The scorcher fills a similar niche in that it kills all the same targets in similar times, it just doesn't have as much ammo per mag.
I second the crossbow, beautiful gun in terms of performance. I just find it a little underwhelming to actually use, it doesn't have the visceral satisfaction of the other guns, it's lacking the bang and immediate feedback I think. Great effect on target though and can kill fabricators which is super handy.
The diligence counter sniper is a good head popper if you can manage the accuracy needed to be effective with it.
I always enjoyed the slugger for the stopping power and stagger. Doesn't do the walkers very well though compared to the others.
If you have the dagger try it against the bots, I really appreciate it for being able to shoot berserkers whilst running away and being able to pop mines without wasting ammo. It's surprisingly useful to have an infinite ammo secondary against the bots.
An option to consider is asking your dr's to help you. They should be happy to talk to your family with or for you.
Wow that's a lot of phone time. The only time I get close to that amount of screen time is when I'm doing a long drive using maps to get there. My average looks to be around 1-3. Though mine doesn't work it out nicely like yours.
