Change the compatibility version try experimental, or even I think the latest stable is 9.0. See if its runable under wine rather than proton. Try importing the game into lutris or heroic launcher you could have better luck but steam should be fine as I don't think that's the issue. You likely have to redownload the games rather than linking the drives due to file format types being different. I've used mint and several family members and gaming has been a breeze without much issues. It seems AMD is much more compatible than any Nvidia GPU. Drivers are better and updated more often under mesa than RTX. Let me see if cyberpunk is runable. Nothing should be an issue but a basic web search will tell a lot.
Edit: after research quickly the game has ran just fine since 2020 on steam since proton 5.0. Its buggy with Nvidia drivers but that was years ago. GoG store works under wine which is inside heroic launcher from software center in mint you can import the game but isn't needed. You can try to use a custom steam command rather than using proton to launch inside steam. Proton is steams default compatibility layer but could need enable for all games. Go in settings check that box to enable for all games, retry. The game does work! Don't give up. Also don't aim the game to windows drive. Reinstall on your mint drive rather than just aiming the launcher. Windows does all it can to screw up anything that isn't windows , verify installed files after download on mint drive and run the game. Perhaps I'll add more later. Off to work. Hope this helps!!

Use custom commands to launch! If it's working just fine on heroic launcher you can actually add the game into your launcher its known to work in like for instance heroic launcher games can be added to steam just do the reverse.
I'd look into the log file which requires a command in steam to see and look what error its throwing that'll nail it down exactly then you know what to do to fix the issue.
To do this you have to manually add the custom command under your specific game in the steam, game, cog wheel, properties maybe, then you'll find a tab called commands or something it's just a single line text box. Add this exactly. PROTON_LOG=1 %command%
The file should go to your home folder somewhere you'll have to look possibly under steam folder. There's all kinds of these steam commands online for every issue so if this tells you nothing simply look for steam commands based on your issue and run a few till you nail it down. Best of luck! FYI AMD is usually rock solid Nvidia is where a lot of issues come in, so its not your hardware so don't trip on that. All AMD for the win. I have a 6700xt as well so I'm usually spot on with knocking out bugs.

Having a firearm larger than a pistol that is semi auto is very much needed. ARs are no worse than any other hi cap semi auto all the way back to invention of semi autos so if you ban an AR you my as well ban every semi auto. I've seen coyotes and wolves in packs corner someone in the woods. Bolt guns just aren't an option for certain situations. Hate the system causing oppression and the person for doing bad things due to outside factors illness or systemic issues not the tool used. A firearm is a tool nothing more nothing less. Immutable Gaming Distro That Just Works.
I currently use Mint, as do several family members and friends. Its been nothing short of impeccable. I was occasionally tweaking things until now sometimes the game crashes, PC freezes requiring hard reset. Everything used to work pretty flawless out the box. Should I reinstall my mint or look at PopOS, Bazzite, Nobara, Etc? I'm at the point in my life. Where we all need something to just turn on and play. I want some shit that just works. Or reinstall mint but how without losing all my files and settings? and keep it moving as usual as it used to be flawless. Tweaking is fun until you tweaked so much shit breaks lol. I am looking for any methods to add privacy to Siri. I do not use apple products but it appears their voice assistant is the most privacy friendly option of the mainstream brands. How can I privatize/anonymize the smallest apple device with siri for daily use. Such as an iPod or iPhone jailbroke or not, or homepod device. I do not have the time to do a lengthy setup. I am looking for a voice assistant that is as private as could be its a NEED not a want. I am aware of Mycroft who has discontinued service. I am aware of Rhasspy but it seems like a lot to setup and maintain.
I'm more looking for how to privatize something mainstream on mobile to always have it with me, not a standalone at home device. I'm talking Alexa, Siri, Google assistant, ect. For to do lists, reminders, looking up questions on the web. The usual use cases. In what ways can one make their assistant a little more privacy friendly without not using one? Auto toggle capability based on rules
I am looking for an auto toggle feature for the swipe down menu. Sometimes I forget to turn off Bluetooth, location, or other toggles on the drop down menu. Is there such a way to have Bluetooth shutoff after 15 mins of inactivity? Or say Mic, camera toggle off after X time of no use, location toggle, etc. Pixel 6 Pro.

I have full workups of bloodwork recent and over time, MRIs, CT scans, allergy panels food and general, various nuclear tests, gastric emptying test, biopsies through my digestive tract, and ANA test. Various tests with hard copies just ask if you have an idea for a test as I may have had it before. 7 levels high and or low in my blood frequently changing. Mostly appear to be RBC count high, direct and indirect bilirubin, I will update if I can remember more or to answer questions as need be. I will share anything TMI such as why my stool color is wildly incorrect or medical labs so please do not hesitate to gain insight or no questions are dumb as my Drs are struggling to find an answer but they see my blood levels aren't right and know its not psychosomatic. My body has massive system wide inflammation I had a recent surgery and my surgeon said my body has a majorly aggressive inflammatory response for some reason. I had major swelling for months even in steroids for 3 or 4 weeks. I get migraines from mild to complete vision loss. Chronic nausea round the clock with medication to fight it sometimes to the point of slobbering in myself and puking. I've been on feeding tube formula when I am having trouble with foods its nestle tolerex packets. I'm constantly drinking loads of water from extreme thirst. Alongside drip drops and body armours to keep hydrated which sometimes isn't enough. For instance the other night I drank 3 bottles of 16 ounce water, 2 16 ounce body armours from 1030pm to 8 am. Woke up with a migraine so bad I drank another 16 ounces of green tea, then had a 28oz body armour all before 1030am.
I need someone who can help find out what is happening inside me by any means. I have 3 GI specialists. 1 liver specialist, and primary Dr. Nobody can find out what is happening but know something is not right. I've spent so much time and energy researching and cross referencing labs myself online and with my Drs. If anyone has any idea why my immune system or an organ of some sort is robbing me of all my food and health. I'm completely open to sharing any and all info to be able to not be completely emaciated and miserable. I will do anything. I think that's obvious because I'm posting on Lemmy of all places.

I could make 1 post of 50 items visible in one cabinet that would be more useful to newcomers or veterans of celiac or gluten sensitive people than all these posts combined. Than how to make the food based off these posts. I mean seriously. If someone new was going to make the food off these posts they'd likely get sick. Highly likely. Basically I am looking for a messaging platform like signal or? but with anonymous signup, perfect forward secrecy, capable of video chat, sending photos the usual uses in today's life. But with a panic button. So that any party member could use said button to wipe all other members devices of any data instantly inside the messaging app. So if one member gets compromised, or lost their device, stolen device ect, any other member could wipe all chats, call log, and any other data strictly inside the messaging client instantly for everyone involved. Disolving the group like it never existed rendering the data unrecoverable. Amazons Wickr used to have most of these features but it is being discontinued December 2023 and who trusts amazon with their data. Does something like this exist? Sorry if I'm not explaining it well I'll do my best to clarify and update this post. I am not trying to delete the whole device. Just the data inside the messaging app. If that does not exist. What about a separate app that could delete the entire messaging platform from the device when triggered. Assume all necessary requirements are met and this is for daily use.
