The "sale" price you see here is effectively the "standard" price. Publishers know that most users will just wait for a sale to make their purchase, and that those too desperate to wait will be willing to pay any inflated "full" price they set.

That sounds even worse than being targeted by the Black Crusaders
Still waiting on the removal of Origin so I can give this a try.

I have had this joke in mind for a long time, but thought it was much too similar to this post. Hopefully it has been long enough that this can be appreciated!
Right??? I wonder if that is even intentional. That also makes it so you cannot have two child spoilers nested at the same level within the same parent spoiler. Something like this should work, but noooooo, the end tags just don't work like you'd expect:

::: spoiler Spoiler 2a

::: spoiler Spoiler 2b

EDIT: Tesseract also adds an extra newline above each start tag in the code block above. In the actual comment source, there are no blank lines in the code block.
Yeah, it was released for all three major consoles that generation. Not sure why OP said just PS2. I think I replayed it on Dolphin, but other emulators probably work also.
I did not consider that! Another possibility is that Gray's uncle and Liz's aunt (or vice versa) married each other. Meaning that not only is the cop literally the uncle to both of them, but also that their family tree had already intertwined on itself at least once before.
I love watching more senior developers do things, and getting to ask them how they did that, what keyboard shortcut was that, etc.
Yeah, I am probably deconstructing this silly joke too much! I will just keep believing it to be intentional foreshadowing
Fuckin' eggs come outta their arses!
I just checked the OOP on Reddit, and it is indeed censored there (not just censored by OP here). Lemmy version does not seem to be similarly censored. You may be onto something.
Before reading the OOP itself, I thought this post was comparing cropping/orientation etiquette.
So the uncle of his that Gray referred to when saying "we all have uncles who are cops" actually could not have been the same person as Liz's uncle, could it?

Can I, as a user, make my instance fully federate everything from a community on an instance that it is federated with?
At the time that I had joined this instance, I believe none of the posts from !30rock@dubvee.org were viewable on this instance. When I subscribed to the community, most posts then became available, but few-to-none of the comments/votes did. Everything since subscribing is entirely in sync. Check it out yourself; when sorting by Old, you see many posts from well before I had joined this instance, but they do not have comments and have just the OP's initial one upvote: https://feddit.org/c/30rock@dubvee.org?dataType=Post&sort=Old
I have noticed similar behaviour with other communities, so I don't think "actions" are just stuck in the "queue" or whatever. Is there anything I can do to get my instance fully in sync with a particular community? Or could this only be remedied by an administrator of one (or both) of the instances?

Bonus edit that I had posted a while ago, highlighting the prop bottle used for this stunt.
https://files.catbox.moe/fhekd3.webm
> Looks like that bottle has an empty inner chamber so that the actor does not have to actually chug. The liquid from the outer chamber fills into the inner chamber when it is tipped, thus giving the illusion that the bottle is emptying. Then after the camera cuts to Picard and back, that inner wall has been removed, and you see the actor actually drinking the last of the bottle.
The differences between versions of the episode "100"
Season 5 Episodes 20-21 is a two-part episode titled "100". When it was originally broadcast, both parts were shown on the same night. I presume this is the cut that is included on the Blu-ray that I have: both parts combined into one long (42:18) continuous episode. But on other home media (including streaming services such as Peacock), and presumably in syndication, each of the two parts is instead recut into an individual episode with a running time of about 21:25 each. It seems that part one was originally a minute or so longer than part two, so part one had some jokes cut out and part two had some added in.
So, I nerded out a bit and played both versions side-by-side, taking note of the differences. Here are my findings:
Part one differences

I see that S6E6-7 "Hey, Baby, What's Wrong" is also a two-part episode that is combined in some places and split in others, so you may be able to expect another post like this for that episode!
