Which cologne smells so good on a man?
  • Sex panther - 60% of the time, it works every time

  • Elon Musk brands Britain a 'tyrannical police state' and boosts far-right activist
  • Yeah it cost me a lot financially but I was happy the police had to drop all their nonsense. I don't really blame my dad he only got mixed up in it from trying to protect me.

But yeah in hindsight a barrister might have been overkill.

  • Truthfully they arrested my dad at the same time as trying to get me which made me feel guilty as hell despite the fact I didn't know what was going on.

I'm not actually sure why a "barrister" my dad hired him first and then probably because of my dad I let him stand for me also..

I only regretted it when I saw the bill, he did keep me out of all the nonsense since he was hired though but yeah Bill made me poor for a long TIME, Same time he might be the only one who made the police behave.

  • I was in the position I felt I had no choice they kept demanding things like non existent Facebook accounts, they wouldn't tell me what I was accused off even it was just constant interviews at places harder and harder for me to get to. I was starting to go mad because I didn't even understand why they had raided me in the first place.

It cost me a lot more than I could afford to hire a barrister but I had the strong feeling I'd be jailed without even knowing why if I didn't.

But yeah the whole thing seemed to stem from one guys joke at somewhere I wasn't.

  • I've no issue like that I think I distrust right, left and the police because all of them Tryed to screw me.

Also can I please state again I'm not American and please stop trying to shoe nail me into your election shit. I was born and raised In Belfast Northern Ireland I've never been to America in my life and don't intend to visit.

  • Nope it's just my honest reaction to both the UK police and Elon musk. I've been raided by the UK police based on someone's else's "joke" when I wasnt there.

I think they forced me to go to about 6 different stations for 8 or so interviews and a mental health evaluation for something I knew absolutely nothing about (someone else joked I might shoot up my workplace when I was on 3 weeks into a damn holiday and some newstart panicked and called the Belfast mayor or something) ) and they repeatedly wouldn't even tell me what it was even about.

They (the police) just fished for absolutely anything they could dream up I assume to suck up to the mayor.

I Mean they were demanding thing like non existent Facebook accounts, asking me why I need a broken laser pointer which was a cheap £1 Keyring gimmick even when new, had a tiny pocket knife in my bedroom, why did I vape did that mean I was a drug addict etc

Cost me about 6 months wages to eventually go hire a barrister when it became obvious they would do just about anything to get me on anything and I guess therefore justify their nonsense raid, only then did I even get even an idea of what was going on.

As for Elon I've thought he was an asshole since he sued top gear and lost in court, he's done nothing of note to me since but make me want to punch him harder. .

I'm also N Irish not American and couldn't give the slightest damn about politics there.

Congrats you talked my worst experience ever out of me and I'm not sure why even.

  • Hate to say it but my experiences with British police is that they are all tyrants who will grasp as straws to screw you over. That said Elon is someone I would very much enjoy to punch in the face.

  • Serious - what job should be replaced by AI?
  • It's serious an AI wouldn't be taking bribes or helping it's buddies make money. True AI if it ever becomes reality is the best chance of treating everyone equally and using resources in the best interests of everyone.

I'm all for being governed by a real AI rather than the next greedy private school entitled jerk.

Same goes for companies and being ethical.

  • France gives Ukraine licence to fire long-range missiles at Russia
  • Because the weapons are locked down and likely need be individually unlocked by the Country's in question. Also Palestine isn't likely to start using nukes and kicking off f ww3.

  • Serious - what job should be replaced by AI?
  • Ceos and politicians.

  • MMA fighter Conor McGregor to pay damages for sex assault
  • Scumbag I would bet a load step forward with similar storys.

  • Microsoft tries to convince Windows 10 users to buy a new PC with full-screen prompts
  • Some group who hates Microsoft should just start doing their own unofficial security updates for 10 and slowly turn it into a Linux distro

  • What is the longest you've been awake without sleep? When and why did you do it?
  • Definetly about 3 days or so I was Nightshift in a supermarket and sometimes during heatwaves I just spent entire days trying to sleep and failing.

Apart from feeling awful I did start seeing things like thinking birds were flying over the aisle I was stocking and similar small things so not recommended really.

  • Why are cassette and CD players so bulky now?
  • Yeah just now watched it fully it's interesting there's no mention of any of the old Sony fancy features on the new ones either, think my old one had all the dolby stuff and could do things cassettes usually couldn't like skip and rewind tracks etc.

  • Why are cassette and CD players so bulky now?
  • I've an old Sony Walkman in a drawer that's is barely larger than the cassettes itself, my guess today there probably isn't money in them anymore so it's probably only a handful of company's making them and doing it as cheap as possible.

  • How do you actually read?
  • I read in bursts really I can go weeks/months without then go through 6 or 7 books in a week. I've always been a very fast reader and if something interests me enough to give it a look I tend to read the entire series at once.

I think the biggest factor for me is if it grabs my interest or not quickly if something doesn't I don't try and force it just wait for the next thing that might.

  • Microsoft stealthily installs Windows 10 update to nag you to upgrade to Windows 11 – and not for the first time
  • Only the android client, just use the fork I think he updated before the official one did anyway. Still it's another case of Google constantly changing the rules on developers for no reason.

  • Apple Quietly Introduced iPhone Reboot Code Which is Locking Out Cops
  • I think this used to be possible with tasker, ironically though probably not anymore before of all Google's restrictions on Android. (maybe if you have root)

  • is there a way to remove instances

Just curious if there is a way as I've been subscribed to a couple now that just vanished out of nowhere and it's a bit annoying to have dead instances on the switch screen.
