Sometimes when I’m having that feeling of “oh man, it’s getting to be ___ o’clock on my day off and I still haven’t really done anything and haven’t decided what I want to do,” a nap is a great answer (when I’m feeling a nap). I think of it kind of as “well, I guess I need some sleep! What a healthy, productive way to spend my day off. I’m so responsible.”

They would never divert that money to air marshals because those are seats the airlines won’t be able to sell. They’ll spend millions to lobby against it, ironically.

Yeah…I almost never order out unless I have company in town or I’m completely out of food to cook after work and I’m lazy (which is like once/mo). And even then I’ll usually scrape something easy together like cereal or pasta/red sauce or even just toast/butter if I’m really desperate.

I’m not constantly throwing out food or eating the same things. Just every week or so I’ll grab enough to make like three separate dishes plus a few staples and just like that I’m set to scrape together something new or eat at least three different set meals. Or I can run down to grab one extra ingredient and make an entirely new dish combining what I have.

I definitely get eating out is delicious and much easier, but let’s not pretend it somehow saves you money lol

Yeah I’m a fan too. It’s so much more exciting and open. The chances of a team like Madrid getting through the group stages only playing Olympiakos, Brest, and then maybe Lyon (which always seemed to happen for RM, coasting through a super easy group) are gone.

Arrest the leader of a 'free' nation and see how quickly the illusion of stability crumbles." They're basically pressing the barrel of the other nation's guns more firmly into their forehead like the "crazy" villain in every shitty action movie daring the hero to turn dark, knowing that if they pull the trigger, there will be a cascading sequence of destabilization and a shattering of the fragile state of "peace" the world has been going through since the end of WW2. Everyone knows we're precariously perched on the edge of calamity and no one wants to be the one to push over the first domino. Everyone in power is profiting quite nicely and pretty much getting everything they want. There is no need for them to upturn this state in order to bring another political criminal to "justice." This order won't last much longer, but that's because there are external forces like the impending climate collapse will force their hand, not because anyone will stand up and do the right thing. But because there are no other options left but to gamble on the future of this existing order.

It’s fucked. Have you ever noticed how AI-generated women always look like children’s faces with developed womanly bodies? This all comes down to our culture’s creepy obsession with unrealistic women and that insane age of consent countdown shit. The most recent example of this I think is the girl from Stranger things. She was a child actor on a huge show, so everyone knows her mainly as a child. I just think it’s the most telling example because—and not to diminish her for her physical attributes—but she just looks…like any ol’ person. I truly think men’s attraction to her is that…she was a child and now she’s technically not
