Since it's the 30th anniversary of the Sega Saturn this week, I was looking up articles from back in the day.
  • For those not aware, "Project Reality" was the codename for the Nintendo64.

Also I get that this is a pro-Sega magazine, but the amount of shit talking they do about the competition while hyping what would turn out to be Sega's penultimate console is really funny in hindsight.

  • SpaceX fails to repeat Starship catch, as Trump looks on
  • You think those selfish dicks, who would rather fuck off to another planet instead of try to curb their own behavior to fix this one, are gonna create some idea egalitarian society?

Fuck no, they're gonna have a slave class to do all the work for them.

  • Matt Gaetz ethics report released to more members of Congress
  • Too easy to deflect.

"Matt Gaetz is the victim of leftist lawfare. If he was a pedophile, why hasn't he been charged? Why do you want to punish people without due process?"

And then some nonsense about how persecuted white men are.

My hands-on with both singleplayer and co-op reveals a super soldier power fantasy with an excellent understand of what makes Games Workshop's storied setting tick.

Space Marine 2 feels even more explosively, grimly, and hilariously authentic to the Warhammer 40,000 universe than the first game

A Warhammer 40,000 space marine is not just your usual sci-fi super soldier. They are hulking behemoths, 10 feet tall (and about 10 feet wide too). They don't move like people, they move like freight trains. They have the physical bearing of an industrial freezer unit and the emotional intelligence of a crocodile. They do not retreat and they do not surrender, and their 9-to-5 is fighting the worst things you can possibly imagine over and over in a completely futile forever-war.
