Everything you don't like is American
My initial reaction to this headline: the fuck is Babylon?
It's my favorite cyberpunk/sci-fi book, but I like a book that demands I take my time with it.
I should re-read it, actually. I don't remember it being as hard to get into as people say, but that's not an uncommon opinion so you're not alone.
I've heard them used interchangeably, but I've got family who are into both the cars and the motorcycles so I may have been getting confused
That bimmer looks sick
Not sure if the intended message is really coming through...
Next they'll go after the furries and take all the navy's data centers offline
I'm in the US. The fence is facing the normal direction. If there's any code saying it must face the other way (or any particular direction at all) then it's code specific to your community, or maybe your state. It's definitely not federal law.
The photo was most likely taken from the outside of the fence, as evidenced by the smaller picket fence in the foreground
Granted, but I'd argue that dark souls and Elden ring, the typical subjects of this debate, are exactly that. There's no way to add an easy mode without compromising the dev's vision. And based on fromsoft's reticence to add an easy mode, I think they agree.
"federation" and "decentralization" are the new hotness in social networks,
Are they? I think it only seems like that from inside the fediverse. As far as blue sky goes I think the new hotness is just getting the hell away from anything to do with elon
Presumably the fence runs between their property so they have to see it every day. Also those exposed nails could be hazardous to pets or children.
It's also pretty trivial to cut the boards to length and use appropriate fasteners. Maybe I'm reading too much into this, but I suspect this kind of carelessness is present in other parts of the neighbor's life. They've probably gotten on OP's nerves before.
I see where you're coming from, but when a game's message is that meaning and purpose is born through hard work and struggling against impossible odds then that message is kinda undercut by a button that turns the struggle off, even if it's there for a good reason.
It's also not, like, unattainable
But it's definitely well beyond what any hobbyist is going to set up in a whim
Presently? Hardly at all. It is interesting that a private Corp is even seriously playing with building a decentralized platform, I guess.
The files are out there to host your own server but from the short look I took it's pretty involved. Most people with the knowledge and interest to host their own twitter-like server have probably already started a mastodon instance.
Corruption, poor education, overpowered oil/gas lobby, for-profit prison system that encourages recidivism
And that's just scratching the surface
Oh, good.
Can't wait to see what dirtbag the GOP finds to replace him
Not as far as I know, but they make America's political division between the sexes look relatively sane by comparison
Just piss on rep. Mace's desk instead. Problem solved.
Pretty sure it's 100% efficient (100% energy consumed is emitted as heat) meaning it's exactly as efficient as a space heater. Only way to get more efficient is a heat pump.
Yeah, I like him okay, I wish there was some way to get a cut of his episodes without the YouTube drama and celeb gossip tho. I'm really only interested in the politics and world events stuff these days
