Originally @hankskyjames777 Will interact mainly on @hankskyjames777

It CAN be definite, considering NaziParty (at) lemm.ee's existence, and the same people flexing their cats on their alts on other instances
Thanks for the shortcut for the community for me to block! ('till after 6 years (2 years after the next USian vote), another USA Dem lost, another extension)
This what im doing to !cats@midwest.social, !cats@sh.itjust.works, !cat@lemmy.world...
Says out the post title out loud
I didn't, because I knew they're a mask-on of grad
not that one, its just a chinese/taiwanese personal blog/site featuring AI tools
By year of first commit - both moved to self hosting, same name but its not the same commits, the repo in openblox.org started in 2014 (back when they used Github) while in malum.me started in 2011 (back when they used SourceForge on Mercure before they moved to Git)
Its a different project, its from last year so no
Might be making !robloxMemes@thebrainbin.org (or !OpenBloxMemes@thebrainbin.org since it'll mention OpenBlox) because of this
It's merely a job for the extensions to fill that gap
As I can say, mainly for the ability for players to play/join the games being hosted on other instances
Its just the same concept as how they interact with posts on Mastodon
Also players interacting between different instances
.ml datacenter on fire
Lemmy.ml is currently down due to a fire at the OVH datacenter. We are waiting to see if it comes back. http://travaux.ovh.net/?do=details&id=49484&
.ml was down due to a fire at the OVH datacenter.
Nowadays AFAIK they self-hosted it, along with their mask-off !emm1grad
Even the ActivityPub author "supports" anyone who makes a game (platform?) that implements the protocol
@fedi_jam@mastodon.gamedev.place if anyone wants to create a game that implements ActivityPub, I am happy to support

This might mean that he may help Prismic implement it (if he's aware) and others
2009/2011 OpenBlox latest sourcecode/repo/site
Not to be confused with the 2014 OpenBlox (legacy version) repo that has been found
Clues:
The outdated repo: https://sourceforge.net/projects/openblox/
The comment that stated where the repo is hosted ~3 years ago at the time of posting: https://farside.link/redlib/r/opensourcegames/comments/sujs4u/comment/hyjfgtg (Linked git site shut down at the time of this post)
It shouldnt be in the first place, there were reports of pedophilia and child labor there
Yeah that marketing is the main reason why they dug themselves down into controversies
Closed source and aimed for kids, sorry
Already read its ToS
It will suffer the same fate as Roblox
Twitter -> Mastodon
Reddit -> Lemmy
YouTube -> PeerTube
Faceb**k -> Friendica
Roblox -> ___________
WE NEED AN ALTERNATIVE
At least you are off the tankie Lemmy instances. One more point for using MBin, which is better. There are other Lemmy instances that aren't managed by them, e.g. lemmy.world; still that doesn't prevent you from moving to MBin.
A Roblox alternative in the fediverse.
Because I want to get off Roblox.
But it does support chats/DMs, and there was an FEP for chat encryption
Sup software does this: https://github.com/thesupapp/server
Matrix 2.0 ActivityPub
Point proven before i could add: The chats should be encrypted (there's an FEP somewhere)
Edit: now they made my point look wrong (it's actually right), heres the sup server source code on how they implement it themselves: https://github.com/thesupapp/server

Pure walled-garden behavior (by federation/decentralization) from the Minetest devs.

Modding for MCPE is actively getting supressed and nobody cares
Modding for Minecraft Pocket edition has always been a niche thing, but there are many existing communities around it, for example:
Levilamina - An open-source mod loader for BDS BDSX - Another open-source mod loader for BDS Amethyst - A open-source client-side mod loader
To clarify here, I am not talking about addons, I am talking about literal native mods that have full control over the game exactly like Java mods
But last night, in the latest preview version 1.21.10.22 mojang removed a thing called symbols (for programmer folks, this is what allows us to identify functions by name for example Block::getMapColor
instead of something like func_143213213
), these are absolutely critical to these communities, and without these many of these community ran projects are having to completely shutdown. 2 of the 3 examples listed above (Levilamina and BDSX) have already announced that they are going to be stopping completely. And Amethyst is no longer going to support the latest versions.
For any java modders, this is equivallent to mojang getting rid of mappings
In the past these symbols did accidentally get removed, but this time is has been confirmed to have been completely intentional by a Mojang Employee via a community discord
A secreenshot showing developer DarkNavi confirming it is intentional
Please help by spreading the word, it would be an absolute shame if these projects were unable to continue due to the supression of this. Many servers for bedrock rely on these projects for their infastructure too, and many have made plugins for these server softwares to do stuff that simply isn't achievable with addons.

OP notes: This has been reported happening more than 2 weeks ago, but I have just been informed through @pokeca_phoenix@lemmit.online's youtube video
